1/1.5 - so horribile I will not mention it. No one would like this trash.
2/2.5 - bad but with some good qualities or good
but with many bad flaws. Could have been worse and some people may like it anyway.
3/3.5 - from decent to good games. This is what I normally expect: entertainment. Some people may like it more, others less but it's ok!
4/4.5 - exceeded my expectations. These are must play for everyone.
5 - Rpgmaker Nirvana
*NOTE*: event games/jam submissions and other games that were developed in a very short time or with other restrictions get a rating bonus (usually +0,5), you are warned!

Sweet Middleground 4 ~the sand castle~ Review
author=Zorga
It's summer in here too, I'm overheating twice a day ._.
So you hate Fumiko and you can't push a wheelbarrow, eh... No, just kidding. You're right, she was a red herring, and my sokoban gameplay is bound to end up in corners sometimes. And I'm proud 8D. I was proud of the "section just before the ending", too. It took me a while to event, and it let to enrichment on some other projets (but, it's not really related). It's funny how you're especially wary of the spoilers on that one, and in a sense it's a good sign for me. It means my assessment of the game matches your experience. I'm happy about that, I had a bit of a hard time meeting my plans on that one... I don't know if I ever told you, but I'm rambling right now xD
The few bugs you found are found and corrected, they'll be in the next upload. Apart from the "castle game disappearing" thing, you'll have to tell me more about that one. And if that's the worst of it, then again I'm proud and happy. These are the games I'm the most attached to, and this episode in particular... Well, you said it without saying it. Spoilers spoilers ='D
Thanks for playing, and thanks for being receptive to the direction it's taking.
Heh the title was also a reference to a Playahitty song, anywaaaaaay...
Uhm well yeah I hate her since she is useless and well I love Vincent's friends but I cannot stand her as much as him since he even say "Why did you ask her to come?".
Good question, she is creepy lol!
I CAN push the wheelbarrow, but I learned later that you need to be careful and give some light touches...
The castle... GA... gaTe! Damn autocorrect! LOL XD gaaah I mean that the gate of the castle partially disappears, only one branch is left after a certain scene.
Anyway yes, kudos for making this series better and better, because you know, after a good start and direction it is not eally easy to keep improving... and yet this is the case!
Chapter 2 is complete!
That's cool! I admit I stopped playing to wait for the final release. No matter when, the important is that is as cool as the beginning of the game!
The Lonely League Demo 2
author=calunioauthor=TheRpgmakerAddictGlad you like it! Yeah I need to tone down the fist battle a bit. Already did actually, and reuplodaded it. I was afraid it might be too easy. I plan on making even more interactivity possibilities on the next cutscenes!
I enjoyed! Hey Mau in the first map gave me a hard time due to him one shotting Vince in a couple of occasions (maybe I was unlucky since sometimes he avoided the attack or received less damage). I am nearing the end anyway sprites and edits are so cool. I also like the choiches during the narrative parts that give bonus, this is a feature I did not remember!
I admit thatI even tried to solve the 1st battle in an alternate way: hitting the nurse and trying to join the goons! Lol yeah it is not possible as the dialogue hinted but I tried! It was just music lol!

The Maid of Fairewell Heights
This is a great game and it was a shame I discovered it so late! It's short but pretty cool and entertaining. Must play!
Heroic Tale VALUE! Review
author=kainworks
WHOAH! Such a nice surprise to start the day!
First and foremost, HUGE THANK YOU again for taking your time to play the game and write this review!
It's really nice you went through it picking up so many details, going as far as contrast them with the previous part! I don't think there's anything more a creator can ask for, truthfully.
While playtesting, I also noticed the game was perhaps easier compared to the first. I wasn't too sure if that was a good or a bad thing! I guess it has something to do with the nerve-wracking period when the game was made. I'm happy that it wasn't completely broken or anything, that would really concern me, haha. It's something I will keep in mind for the future!
Other than that, I really had fun doing this "scenario". On the first one, I wanted to try a more classic party setup, so after getting that out, it was good to take a different approach, to some extent, the second time around!
Initially, I considered making it a bit more story-centric but as this came out shortly after GeaSaga (which not only took much longer to make, it also has much more text and something resembling a story, in a way, LOL) I opted to keep the concept similar to the first as, after all, this was an expansion on the same ideas (exactly, "more of the same", as you pointed out!).
Anyhoo...! I'm extremely grateful you played it and thank you again for writing the review!! It's really encouraging! And... if it managed to leave a bit of a "I would like more!" feeling afterwards, then I'm happy it didn't outstayed its welcome too much!
Yeah the game was easier (maybe for the particular characters, or probably to the fact that the single levels are connected to the first), but it's not a bad thing, in fact I liked it more probably. On the contrast the final boss is harder due to the istant kill attacks of his minions (that have to be eliminated asap!).
Yesss the lack of a real "story" is what limits my rating but hey... it's ok anyway!

Mystery Falls - Director's Cut Review
author=richterw
Yep. It is the "real" prototype of Deadly Woods, so much that i thought about deleting it, but then i decided it was different enough to be it's own interpretation, and worth keeping.
I would say it is bigger in scale, but less focused.
Yes, funny thing because it looks like the plot is a little different...

That's awesome! Thanks for the review! This was indeed my very first game. I'm glad you liked it.
looking back, it really is a pseudo-prototype of what Deadly Woods would've become, after i got a little more experience.
Ps: if you ever get to play Similar Mountains, another adventure i made, don't mind all the edgy stuff i put in there. I was going through a "phase" when i made that game XD
Oh yes, Similar Mountains is another game I planned to play sooner or later!
But isn't The World Needs you the real Deadly Woods prototype? I mean, it has the same graphics, features both agents and it's also a demo... well just curious!
Castlevania - The lost Belmont
Funny how this comes out as I am going to review Castlevania NKN! So far I played one Castelvania (well not exactly a fangame, still... a sort of clone) made in Openbor, one Castlevania in Game Maker Studio and now I will play this in Rm2k3!
I'm really curious!
