1/1.5 - so horribile I will not mention it. No one would like this trash.
2/2.5 - bad but with some good qualities or good
but with many bad flaws. Could have been worse and some people may like it anyway.
3/3.5 - from decent to good games. This is what I normally expect: entertainment. Some people may like it more, others less but it's ok!
4/4.5 - exceeded my expectations. These are must play for everyone.

Dunno if Cernus is still around, which is a shame since he was a pretty cool guy.
It's a pretty good game given the time frame. Some nifty gameplay systems, even if a little unbalanced. The story is where it really shines though!
Absolutely! Also this earned the SECOND PLACE in the Golden Week of RM2k3 event!
No small feat considering it was made in a really short time! I agree with the problem addressed by the dev, otherwise, pretty good indeed!
Rejection - An RMN Birthday Game Review
author=JustAShyDogeauthor=MarrendI...may or may not have accidentally included an extra pizza in there due to my own mistakes when developing it.
Ocean only asks for 14 pizzas (which is likely due to an event-prompt), but, I swear I found 15. Then again, you can find them in the most bizarre places, and I ended up attempting to interact with more stuff that I want to admit to find them.
But I decided to keep it since I wanted to save the player's time/less spamming to almost every tile just to find the last few pizzas.

Speaking about the stars, in the beginning I was not sure to add them, I mean I expected a short joke game (the description says "10 minutes") instead I found combat really well made (and it took me 30 minutes to finish!) and fun, so yeah, it was more seriously made than I expected! Oh yes!
Final Fantasy: Legend of Balance Review

I'm really happy to hear you enjoyed the game so much! I'm glad you appreciated the story and humor, and got really into the battle system and played with all the characters and customizations, that's definitely where a lot of the work went. And yeah, I'm the first to admit some of the maps are a bit bland and function over form. For the graphics, we decided to use a lot of tilesets from the psp/mobile versions of the games because it was something we hadn't seen done much compared to most FF Fangames that use/edit FF6 assets. That said the SNES pixel look is definitely a lot more iconic and recognizable!

The funny thing is that despite reviewing games in this site, this was suggested to me by my friend that liked this a lot! She is italian and probably playes more japanese games that rpgmaker games in english (in fact I usually suggest her the games I review here, in this case it was the opposite)! So yeah, the opinions on graphics and maps are all mine (I'm a rm2k3 fanboy, I know), but maybe other players don't care or like them so it's ok!

Me too and yet I had a hard time finding the 14th pizza!
There were really 15 pizzas? A smart move to recycle this game for Rmn 15th Birthday!

When did Theia come out? That kinda looks too new to be it, though I also don’t know how long it was in development.
it was in development from 2008 to 2015. But yeah, it may be too new.

I’m not actually sure it was a Final Fantasy fangame, no! I VAGUELY recall it being one, but this is all from over a decade ago so I’m not at all sure on that count.
Uhm the "redhead villain protagonist" reminds to me of The Cerebral Symphony but it's even more recent...

Final Fantasy Dreams has a lone red haired protagonist but after the prologue you play as Cloud + Leon + Tifa. So probably not.
Final Fantasy Unknown & Final Fantasy Spirits of Darkness also had a red haired protagonist but... nothing of the rest seems to match.
Final Fantasy VII : Une autre histoie & Final Fantasy VII Origin have no red haired characters, from what I remember...

Same thing happened to me I dunno if it is the same error:
- I got a 'script error' when trying to open the chest during the avalanche part (the one with note "RUN you fool". A guy with a red cap briefly appears on a space backround) but then che game crashes! If I ignore the chest nothing happens and the game continues normally.

Sweet Middleground 4 ~the sand castle~ Review
More places and characters? Oh nice, this was nice also because it was the first time outside the usual city block that now we know very well (well familiarity with places is nice in these slice of life heartwarming games). I am curious.
Oh yes the music! I probably just mentioned that briefly but music is very good, I am not sure if the theme is the ine I liked more because each entry had good and appropriate musics! I do not know my favourite, but this is one of the best episodes also for the music.
