1/1.5 - so horribile I will not mention it. No one would like this trash.
2/2.5 - bad but with some good qualities or good
but with many bad flaws. Could have been worse and some people may like it anyway.
3/3.5 - from decent to good games. This is what I normally expect: entertainment. Some people may like it more, others less but it's ok!
4/4.5 - exceeded my expectations. These are must play for everyone.
5 - Rpgmaker Nirvana
*NOTE*: event games/jam submissions and other games that were developed in a very short time or with other restrictions get a rating bonus (usually +0,5), you are warned!

Thank you a lot for the review, I appreciate it a lot! I'm really happy to see someone enjoy this game that's not a close friend, and it helps me see what other people may think about it.
Yeah, the bonfire mechanic is a clear reference to the Dark Souls series, but I never thought about Fallout when making the currency bottle caps, they are a simple reference to the legendary bottle, as bottles have bottle caps.
The blur in Sandra's sprite is completely intentional, and she becomes more and more blurry until her arc is completed and regains a little "something" that you should know about.
Ow I was almost sure about the bottle caps! Weird!
Yeah yeah it is a very classic game, but the humor makes it step up from the usual boring games and FF clones. Really.

I'm really glad the translation to English went well, I had no translation experience at the time and I thought English speakers would see a lot of typos and bad grammar.
Heh unfortunately I am not the best person to say this since I am not a native english speaker, and I could have played the original in spanish since I speak both languages... barely! :D
Sweet Middleground Review

It was my very first game, I think it shows...
You're the first one resenting the carpets, but not the first one who didn't notice the dad, or found the "gameplay" lacking. The only thing I'll fight with my teeth is the idea that predictability is a flaw, that's just preposterous; other than that, you're not only fair, but strangely nice about it.
I'm flattered you took the time to go through the whole thing, and even more so that you liked the music; unfortunately, I can't or won't justify the rest, nor will I try to argue there's improvement later. I'll just thank you for playing this one, this is more than enough for me.
Well I plan to play the others just because I wanted to play the last one but I cannot do this without starting with the first! Sincerely, in my scale this game is a 3/3.5 but I decided to go for the 3.5 due to the custom art, music, concept, and lack of bugs and errors. It's original, short but I had fun and in the end my precise though was to play a sequel just to learn what it was going to happen then (I mean, it's a bit predictable, but closes nicely as expected, and it's a good thing seeing it had some sequels).
I had very little to complain, I mean, this was like playing Severed Waters, more or less it's the same kind of narrative game with little puzzles, just with a different mood and theme (slice of life/school drama instead of mystery/horror), and I have more than one friend that like this kind of game that is quite easy (even if the library puzzle took me 3 tries) but entertaining and interesting from a narrative point of view.
I just could not stand those carpets! Lol. Ok, very minor complaint (besides the dad, that is just because it happens at first, when you do not know the aspect of the "generic" npc).
How Are You All Holding Up?
All great here in Venice. Work-home and home-work is all we can do except going to the supermarket for supplies but hum ok! I mean I am one of these "mandatory workers" so no rest or smartworking for me, but at least I get to drive. Seems here that infections were more frequent in schools (child >> parents >> relatives and so on), anyway they started the vaccinations...
BUT I will probably have to wait and endure being tested for a while. I miss friends & alcholic drinks -.-

Thanks for the review :D
The First Aid bug has been fixed. That particular unit wasn't supposed to have it. It just got left over from a ctrl+C/ctrl+V job.
Yeah yeah I supposed that! Ahah great little game anyway a nice scenario idea.

author=Rokazuluauthor=TheRpgmakerAddictThanks for playing my game. It means a lot that people play and enjoy it to the extent they can get down with it. I appreciate your feedback and will correct those bugs if another patch is warranted.
Hello! Just a couple of bugs I found in the last version:
1 - you can walk over a fence in the first town (and this is not a problem...)
2 - The first time I went to the friend's house I was on the left side of the door... and my character disappeared. I was still able to progress the game but it was totally invisibile, so I reloaded and did the same think standing and interacting with the right side of the door (that in fact occupies two spaces) and this time there was no issue.
That's all. So far nice game a bit... weird! But original nonenthless!
Here I am again! So far pretty good the story is really interesting only two issues:
There is a map error on the left room (you can go through the csbinet).
Second... I cannot beat the boss on the next area, Alexandros is 5th level and the others at 4th... but yeah it seems nearly impossible to beat (wandering enemies are pushovers so I believed to be strong enough)

Oh, hey, look! I finally remembered to update it "completed".
Yay! Luckily you already clarified that before! I try to avoid reviewing games that are not "completed" (I make exceptions only for demos that are older than 2 years or if the dev asks for it)
Decline Review
Hey! In any case for a jam game it was impressive
For what concerns loot it is low but not bad, also I did not mind the low encounter rate at all even if I prefer avoiding the combat encounters against the three bots (those with the two indentical and the one different in the middle) since they were pretty nasty. In any case combat was still ok, I'm not that good and I struggled a bit against the first boss of the final dungeon (since you have no time to prepare and comes suddenly after the cutscene) but I liked the strategies you have to employ to win.
As I said combat ok, but the rest very very good (especially puzzles with that little surprise at the end of the last one... you know what I mean! Lol!)

End of Winter Review

Thanks for the review! I made it in only a few days, so this is more of a prototype test project and it shows :D
The lack of a HUD is an issue, I wanted to implement one, but I didn't manage to do it before the end of the Game Jam and afterwards I just focused on other projects. The next version of Under the Hunter's Moon will have one and I'll most likely go back and add one here too (and maybe switch the functionality of E and Shift, might be a good idea, since Shift is the default sprint key for RPG Maker).
Glad you liked the tutorial! I'm planning to add a similar one to Under the Hunter's Moon too.
Black Knights are stronger than the Zombies and Werewolves combined, but they have the same speed as zombies, so werewolves are much more annoying.
Do you think the gameplay changes in Under the Hunter's Moon (like solid enemies you can't just run through and melee attack) were an overall positive compared to how this game works?
Oh, and the Adlet from Amarok's Howl are technically Sedna's children, Amarok doesn't really have much to do with them other than being a part of the same mythology. I originally wanted to have normal wolves there, but the RTP doesn't have a wolf sprite, only a fox sprite and those would've looked silly :D
Uhm yeah switching E and Shift may be a good idea but I did not mind that!
Under the Hunter's Moon has a more refined system even if pretty similar (I admit that there I missed the presence of a tutorial!). The melee attack was a good addition, anyway I have still to finish that one!
Heh these wolves are nasty, somehow I a am finding Under the Hunter's Moon more challenging than this one... but I will finish it!
Three Ghostly Noses Review

Woah, thanks for the review Addict! I never would have guessed when you said you had another review for one of my games in the queue that this was the one. I'm glad it was fun! Like you said it was just a dumb little secret santa thing but I'm still pretty proud of the custom graphics, I think they turned out looking really cute. Unfortunately the ending bug wasn't intentional but I like that it was so on-brand for me that it wasn't obvious, hehehe. Thanks again for checking it out and the kind words!
Heh you know what? I played (and reviewed) Three Ghostly Roses and while making a search BAM! I unintentionally found this game so I gave a try, I do not mind little games. Yeah graphics and the variety of opponents is NOSEworthy! :P
