Rogulikes:Makes Dying fun!
author=rcholbert link=topic=199.msg2788#msg2788 date=1187989544Isn't it RTP, too? Wouldn't be so bad if it were just really low res custom spritings.
It feels like a rpgmaker game because it has fricking rpgmaker sprites. Which takes away a lot from the credibility of the game. I know this is controversial... but...
Thumbs down.

Video game discussion! Here! Now!
It's pretty awesome that you have to sound the RUN FOR YOUR FUCKING LIVES horn every once and a while in FFXII when you come across unknown or powerful enemies. That's usually very poorly done, but imo, FFXII has a good balance of where things are powerful, and gives you plenty of options to avoid them.
Hell, first area in the game where you are hunting the flower cactoid, there's the giant T-rex. They definitely designed that aspect well.

You are going to have to be more specific, and actually present your project in a way that would make people want to join your team.

Yeah, the average concert-goer at this one was junior high to young high schooler. They were pretty good live, just not my favorite band, so to speak. :P

I have the same love of games with squares, abley. D&D has some good computer games, but the console games tend to lick nuts. KOTOR is roughly D&D based, Baldur's Gate (1 or 2, 2 being astronomically more fun) is probably the best example of straight D&D.
I went to a Hedley concert last night for like $14 a ticket and was only about 4 people back from the front. Was a festival sort of thing with pigs and stuff, so it was weird, but yeah. Not the sort of band I absolutely love but my lady likes them a lot. Whachagonna do. Best thing about being at a Hedley concert? You're always the biggest guy there. Also, I felt like elbowing some of those rude bitches in the nose who were shoving my wife when they wanted to get to the booth to meet the band. Too bad a bulk of my testosterone had been sapped by the feminine escapades of the lead singer in short shorts.
