Thinken!

Fine, lemme try to help. If you did the moving dices with move route, I could think of a switch that activates WHILE a dice is moved with the effect of preventing that exact dice's move route to be triggered once again as long as it moves (understandable?). After the dice moved, set this switch OFF again.

Hi Tw0face, thank you for your feedback. I will play it and try to adjust the moments you spoke. About the crystals disappearing when saved I will consider removing this limitation.

That sounds like a neat changelog. :) If you want to keep your system, you could both add more save crystals and reduce the price to 3 G instead of 5 G and it would be fine to me.

Also, I couldn't figure out how to beat the last boss.

Thinken!

In this game, is it intended that you can move dice around the corner? This makes a lot of stages quite easy to beat.

The sword in the stone

Seriously, I like this. Love the way how the character speaks to the player via speech bubbles (for example when it comes to repair the green lever). Battles are a bit hard and the big map is quite laggy (playing on laptop) but I'll definitely continue with this.

Played Thinken! as well. Pls feed me with more puzzles! I'd like to see a game where CSCA Dungeon Tools are included as puzzles. Could you think of doing something like this?

(and would like to know what parts you mentioned about the moments of frustration).

Ok. :) Playing the stages where you had to push the stones across an ice surface, I was a bit frustrated because it was a pain to reset the stage (you had to slide the right way back). I got also a bit of lag during the later (larger) stages, so maybe there's something that can be done to improve the overall performance? Playing the normal stages, I often died as a block that was supposed to hit the opponent just went through it (I guess this sometimes happened when the opponent is only two squares away from me). Most annoying moments: Paying to save the game while the save crystal disappears after one use. I had zero lifes before playing the final boss, 10 coins and not a single save crystal left in the whole area. So I had to go back to area 1 to safe my game. Whenever I lose to the final boss, I had to make my way back from area 1 to area 4, because that was the only save spot I had left.

The Orbs Quest

Hi. Will there be a full version released by time? The game page says "completed" but the title screen of the game still says version 0.5.0 (I made it quite far, recently cleared area 4, and I'm still hoping I'll be able to carry my save files from the demo).

This game has both a lot of fun and a lot of frustrating moments sometimes. However, I can't quit playing. I like it a lot and hope it's not cancelled. :)

I kinda want to suggest extending the tall cliff one tile to where the ladder is, but to keep the ground floor as-is. Not 100% sure how well that suggestion might work with the Mario wannabe script Arc Engine's functionality, though.

That's a good point. However, I don't think this will work exactly like that. I might be able to find a sideview ladder instead. Let's see what I can come up with.

Are the RTP tilesets final? The HUD itself looks okay, it's just the perspective on the tileset that makes me iffy.

I like the word "iffy". Never heard it before, but it's funny. Perspective bothered me as well. I tried to mock up the perspective and make the RTP tiles look less square. Having a few new trees and removing auto shadows as well, I end up having this.

Castle Warfare Review

Thanks for playing, halibabica!! Glad you enjoyed the game, I really appreciate the detailed review (and of course the positive feedback). Also I love the cute little comic you added to the review. :)

I'm just about to watch your Let's Play (I'm currently on part 5 or so) and I'm excited to see what happens next.

As for the offensive stages, you correctly found out that in the later game it is necessary to destroy your enemy's defenses to stand a chance. However, it's not required to tear down their academy** as well. If all other defenses are destroyed, you're able to smash their castle easily, as you deal way more damage per turn than their academy could recover.

**I fixed the typo. Thanks for pointing that out.
