[RMVX ACE] Pets and Summons v1.1a Script Bug

I have trouble with the script Pets and Summons v1.1a by Vlue.

https://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?threads/pets-and-summons.27210/

I use a skill with the note tag <SUMMON 5, 10, 0> to summon the Actor with ID 5. This also works. However, every animation is displayed on Actor 1, even if the summoned Actor 5 applies an item to itself, heals their HP or MP... every animation is played on Actor 1 instead of Actor 5. I use Yanfly Battle Engine Ace.

This is obviously a script bug. Unfortunately, this script seems to be no longer be supported.

Can anyone help me fix this bug?

Port Traventor Review

Thank you very much for the awesome review, halibabica. :) I really appreciate it! I enjoyed every minute watching you play Port Traventor and it was a great experience.

However, I think it would’ve been better if the orc tower and barbarian tower were switched, as the former is the toughest and the earliest available while the latter can’t be reached until lumber isn’t a necessity anymore.

Great idea. I'll definitely consider this in case I plan on updating the game again.

Alternative Download Sources for Outdated Download Links

Sadly, rmarchiv is a site consisting almost entirely of trolls and haters who have been banned from all other German forums, and who now run an archive that doesn't take copyright law too seriously.

While it sounds cool at first to have a collection for German and English RM games where you can find almost everything you're looking for, the approach of the people behind this site is to upload games without asking the devs first. This is a topic that always leads to long and controversial discussions in German RPG Maker forums, however, rmarchiv has clearly stated they don't plan to change anything about this. So let's say you find out your game has been uploaded there and you don't agree with it, you have to report it through the site and hope your request isn't ignored.

If someone wants to better understand the attitude of most people using rmarchiv, I highly recommend to google translate what is written in their public shoutbox.

i know you can't nominate commercial games for Misaos, but if i could, i'd nominate "Prayer of the Faithless" for the Not Dead Yet Award. I mean, holy crap, 7 years in the making and it turned out brilliant. What an achievement.

Never really got why commercial games can't be nominated for Misaos. Isn't it that those games benefit the most from being spotlighted this way?

Northerner Review

Thanks for the review, lobo. I plan on making more novel-like shortgames in the near future that are in a similar vein to Northerner. It's a nice change from the games I usually make, which are mostly driven by gameplay.

Dirge of Lost Souls

Looks kinda nice. Would play.

This series is premiering!

Cool, thanks for letting me know. I'm looking forward to watching you play through. Have lots of fun.

Sindorin Inn

Hi, lobo. Seems like you didn't like the game that much, however, thanks a lot for doing a video and review on it. I appreciate.

The Lord of the Rings

Game doesn't start for me even though I legally own RPG Maker 2000 and have its Runtime Package installed.

At what point do you declare your project "finished"?

For me, a game is completed when it has become 100% the game I wanted it to be. During the process, I try as best I can to avoid overthinking it, and instead focus on what I had in mind when I started it.

Creating many small games that are all part of the universe I've created allows me to not get into situations where I take on too much, or even get lost in concepts that were planned too big from the start.
