Wow the Royalant put up quite a fight, even managing to down my protector at one point D:.
It makes up for the stratum 2 boss being a pushover though, then again, just as long as I use a boosted Relaxing at the start, the extra boost from it combined with ym healers maxed out TP Regen means I recover all TP from using Salve each turn.
Time for floors 13 onwards it seems.

Well, the Lufia thing doesn't really work as the characters that you play at the start aren't the same ones you play later on.
FF7 does this by starting you out as Cloud but also giving you the insanely overbuff Sephiroth.
It gives you a taste of power/the future but not from a character you'll ever have in your party again (and thus avoids the above complaints about spoiling skill linearity).

I don't think people are complaining about being surprised or offended by the adult nature of some content. I think the issue is with the fact that excessive swearing or purposely inappropriate material is generally related to extremely poor design choices.

Honestly, you shouldn't do anything to directly discourage using her. Players who keep her in the party the entire time should miss out in other ways, which I think you already touched on - certain characters are required for special actions in certain places. Just make it so that other characters are weighted more heavily in this way than not.
If you need to discourage using her, she's probably just overpowered if she's that fantastic.

I think it would look really good if you had icons for what types of weapons and armor they use.
It's not THAT bad, but, you can simplify it to one or two sentences, and the icons:
MIMICs can only learn skills that enemies use on them.
However, they learn a wide variety of skills.
