I'll never forget driving with WIP to a #rm2k meetup in Boston. I felt extremely out of place pulling up to Lysander86's house and seeing RPG-Advocate in full velvet cape mode through the window.

What size IS full screen - Debate
The 550% vs 150% thing is a bit odd. You get more visual artifacts with 150% because it's easier to see the difference with so few pixels. But both upscaling sizes are not ideal.
Shovel Knight did a similar thing. It runs at 1080p in most places (except for 3DS, where it runs at native res). The game uses the 3DS's res as its internal (400x240) and upscales 4.5x for a 1080p resolution. The artifacting isn't quite as noticeable because its tougher to spot with that many pixels.
I still prefer scaling with whole numbers, though.

the most impressive part about WIP is that his user title is still just a random thing said by brandon abley like a decade ago.
Actually I stole it from a Lewis Black skit on The Daily Show from like a decade ago. Brandon read it aloud during one of the podcasts, though.

Thanks WIP! I think I saw some of your posts on the Neogaf thread. That was a bit rough at first, but it was nice you helped pitch us. Yes, we are really excited and the game has been in high gear. I'll try and post some updates here soon!
