I think WIP has an alert on this place so if his name shows up he gets a notice. He was mentioned in another thread a few days back...coincidence, I think not (j/k).
#shmup could have been seen as the most visible, yet least impacting, issue the site had during my tenure. Also don't forget I hung out in #shmup on a consistent basis.

You can tell a lot of work went into this topic. And I appreciate that, and I also appreciate the topic you used :) However, i personally found it to read like something I call forum filler. Where there's no catchy arguments used and its simply thrown in to set a mood. And thats all fine, but I have to wonder why someone would make an original post and not come up with the the catchiest lead post they could imagine.

Seems to be a problem with the new "save as draft" for blogs when a game has deleted blogs....which are orphaned submissions...dammit WIP, I thought I cleaned all of that stuff up! I won't be able to get to this for another 9 hours or so when I get home from work...
