Just started playing the game. I only got as far as the end of the intro, because I wanted to come back here and gush about how incredible it is.

The title screen and intro, to put it simply, are amazing. The dramatic music, beautiful mapping and excellent eventing all combine to form a cinematic experience that is reminiscent of commercial rpgs. The comic bubble speech boxes are also a very nice touch.

The menu is just...it's commercial quality visual goodness. The satisfying way the command panels smoothly slide in and out when you enter a menu is just beautiful.

I'm barely even 5 minutes in, and the game has hooked me with its impressive visuals, jammin' soundtrack and clean eventing. The story set up is similar to a game I'm working on myself, and does a good job of building up a potentially captivating story. You've said you're relatively new to rpg maker, but if you hadn't said so, I never would have guessed.

Anyway, keep up the good work, I'll probably chime back in once I've gotten father through the game. Thanks for sharing all your hard work with us!

Which Battle System do you prefer?

Personally, I enjoy the open air hud more. It opens up more of the battleback and greatly enhances immersion. It also gives your game a more unique feel, as the command bar has been used in countless rpg maker games. Both are just fine, but I prefer the Moghunter version. As for the enemy atb bar problem, you should be able to raise it by shifting the enemy battler's position up a bit. If you can, I'd suggest modifying the ATB bar color so the hud looks slightly less christmas-y.

Thanks for all your patience ladies and gentlemen, a short demo is now available for download! The demo covers the story prologue and up to the end of the initial forest, so yeah, not all that long. Still, it should give you a small taste of the combat and story. The full version has many more features than those displayed in the demo and currently clocks in at about 6 hours with sidequests, so it'll be a good meaty game.Alright, that's enough chit chat, I've got some game making to do!

Yeah, Azrielle's face is actually a modified version of Ran's from Elsword. Been trying to find ways to sharpen it up but to no avail. Gah, I'll think of something!

What? You want to play the game?! That's madness! The game is about 75% done at the moment. I initially didn't intend to release a demo before the game was finished, but I think you guys deserve at least something to work with other than a bunch of screenshots. It'll be a short demo, just to give you a feel for the story and gameplay. I'll try to get it up by the end of the day. Thanks for your interest, buddy!
