Just a guy who loves rpg's. Thanks to some serious encouragement from several new friends and the community at large, I was able to complete one of my own. Game making is my favorite hobby, so you can expect more games on the way. Play on fellow gamers, play on!

It's always been a dream of mine to have my game up on youtube. I'm flipping out just thinking about it. Where's that paper bag?!

So I'm in this town with the mayor's kid kidnapped and the secret tunnel out and I don't know where to go next. I came from thre merchant pass and I can leave the town via the tunnel but that's it.
Help?
That happened to me too. If I recall correctly, you need to leave town and search for a cave or mountain. The mountain is very similar looking to the other unenterable mountains, so it's tricky to find. Just wander around the world map and keep your eyes peeled until you find it.

Also just wanted to say I tried the demo of your game about a couple months back or so. It was really good and I've been pumped. Can't wait til the full version comes out! :3 I'd get it straight away. xD It's definitely very unique.
Sidenote:When you commented on my game I was all 'Omg it's that guy with the good game!' XD
Ok...no pressure. No pressure. Must live up to the public's expectations. Dagnabit, I need a paper bag to breathe into!
All kidding aside, I hope you enjoy my game as much as I enjoyed yours. I'm taking some extra time to add in a little more razzle dazzle and improve some of the mapping, but I'm almost done. I should be done by the end of the year at the latest as long as things go according to plan. Thanks for the comment, bud!

The amount of effort invested really shone through on this game. If this is any indication of what your games will be like in the future, I'll be looking forward to playing more of them.
Oh, almost forgot to say thanks for sharing!

It's time for me to quit worrying about what others thinnk, or may think, and do what I want with the story

As a wise man once said, "make the game you want to see in this world." I believe a lot of developers out there are held back from creating the games they want because they fear their stories will be ridiculed for being too cliche. I say do whatever you want. Your game will have a much better chance of being completed if you enjoy working on it. At the end of the day, for me at least, seeing your vision become a reality is the most rewarding experience rpg maker can offer.
When you share that vision with others, some will like it, others won't, but it's important not to compromise your game to the point that it becomes unrecognizable from what you wanted to create at the start. This rant has been brought to you by WheelmanZero. Thank you.

I stole the stalactite idea from one of my unreleased RM games ;p
Actually, now that I think about, I stole the moving platform idea too. And I have plans to steal pretty much every other combat/dungeon/minigame mechanic from that game. Could have saved myself the time by releasing that game instead.
Bah! At this point pretty much everything is stolen. Whatever ideas you come up with, there's a good chance someone else out there came up with it first. I just say go with what's fun. Wait a second...you can't steal from yourself! You made me go on a rant for nothing!
Also, this game seems to become more awesome every time I look away for more than 3 seconds.
