OH YEAH! And if it doesn't work quite right, upload a copy of wslog.txt on your locker or something, please don't paste it here because it might be a huge log.

What WeaponSoul Can Do

And hopefully it will run at all on your machine.

Release Something! Day VIII: Journey of the Cursed King [Sign ups]

You're also forgetting two possible outcomes. The first one is that the person saying "meh" would not like the final version anyway. The second one is a new person who's never seen your game before, which is always likely and possible.

Getting something out there is a problem of mine. I keep showing program code, screen-shots, and ideas but I rarely actually package something for people to see. This event is a great way to get a feel for release dates and demos- at least that's how I see it. "Oh it's not ready" is the problem I really feel I have and I really need to quit thinking that way- people will know it's not ready and that it's going to be uber glitchy, buggy, and most likely short.

I'll enter with NovaForce.

I decided to pull a fast one and merge two games together (WeaponSoul and the original NovaForce) so I renamed my gamepage.

I'll put the emphasis on BETA as it will be my engine's maiden voyage in an actual release to lots of people- but it's worked so far on Linux (Ubuntu, Fedora), Mac OSX, Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. Seems to run on ATI and nVidia cards too. It's also netbook friendly ^.^

But yeah. I think it will be fun to try and hit a deadline and then release something. Honestly, if you put the time I spent building the engine and tools, it would be about 30 or so hours I think (not counting the other 3 versions plus prototyping). I should be able to handle this.

(edit)
Wooooooo You've got a ton of entries this time too. Well, I'll try not to waste your guys' time with garbage. I hope you'll either 1) The game crashes and you can say "wop, doesn't work next one" or 2) it's works and is hopefully fun, yet kind of short anyway so even if you don't like it, it won't eat up a lot of time.

I'll be able to do all that and a bag of chips in my new engine I'll use.

I don't like how he dulled the shine on Venaitura, but I really love the background and hills.

Only able to write 3 lines in Rm2k3

I get agitated over that too. I shouldn't have to readjust my finely tuned computer because one misbehaving application demands it to. Depending on your monitor, if your DPI isn't set correctly the text will be so tiny and hard to read.

A 'clean' battle formation in RM2K3?

I usually let the terrain auto align my characters according to those funny lines which are hard to re-adjust. Make sure auto alignment is set everywhere or the characters might be set in some fixed battle formation that's scattered anyways.
