XANEDIL'S PROFILE

While I've used RPG Maker for maybe 4 or 5 years now, I've never completed or published any RPGs. Hopefully, I'll be able to soon. If I ever do, feel free to say whatever you want about them. Note that I don't make them namely for a fanbase but more of for my own self-enjoyment, however, constructive criticism is always welcome.

Right now I have absolutely no inspiration for any future projects. I've juggled a few ideas for either new things for my current project (which is borderline hiatus right now) and new ideas but nothing is satisfying me -_-

DS Games for Christmas

Don't even bother with Partners in Time until you're tired of both Bowser's Inside Story and Superstar Saga

Ironically, these are the only two "Mario and Luigi" games I've played, and I can vouch for both that your money would be well spent.
Partners in Time wasn't that bad, but it was definately the weakest of the three.
And for the DS, I say:
The World Ends With You is awesome.
Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days was fun (multiplayer could've been better though)
Nostalgia
Castlevania (Dawn of Sorrow and Order of Eclescia are good. Never played Portrait of Ruin.)
Tales of Innocence (if you don't mind importing and reading off of a translation guide)

The Novelist

DEATHNOTE!

Sounds pretty neat for a game though. I'll be keeping an eye on this one.

Hellion

I say, let us whip out the booze and start blasting out some Final Fantasy fanfare music. Congrats to Hellion's completion.

Release Something! IX: something about cats

Back in my day we did Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing. In glorious 16 bit color.

Oh God I remember using that in my 7th grade computer class.

Where will you be in 10 years? (Discussion)

I'd be 25 and dead.
Kidding, I'd probably be in college still, probably in a relationship with someone. I honestly would never know.

Release Something! IX: something about cats

I'll probably release another demo for my game. It's very far from where I want it, but I should be able to get something new in it.
If not that, I'll probably either make my sister post her RPG and demo on here or steal it and post it on here myself. It is DAMN GOOD. My sister makes some of the best RPGs in the world. She doesn't have an account on here yet but I've constantly pestered her to get one.

JK about the stealing part.

Subtitle Pending: A release something! day banner discussion

Hey, I'm a Trekker (or Trekkie, either one.)

Anyone willing to beta test my game?

And at the risk of double posting, here's what I have to say:
It looks the part of an epic RPG, it sounds the part, but I really couldn't get into the gameplay because of an interface problem. It probably has something to do with the movie you have loaded into the game. My advice on that, if you play Iron Gaia: Virus, there's an option to skip the movie in the intro if your computer can't withstand flash for some reason. You should probably do that as well.
The voices were cool, but badly recorded. If you can fix this, do it.
Probably my biggest problem were the amount of spelling errors. It's generally good to spell check a game before releasing it. Your text also seems to be very erratic at times. It's fixable but not required, but having the text match the voiceover will greatly improve your intro.
One more thing, don't encrypt your game please. It makes it really difficult for people to play. Like if I could've accessed the game, I could've continued on with it and would've gotten to play more of it. Memory isn't a concern of mine, but when you're ready to release another demo on RMN it should be on this page and you should eliminate unwanted materials beforehand.

From what I played though, it looks promising. Keep working on it.

I'm going to try the demo you posted a while ago. Hopefully I'll have some feedback soon.
