While I've used RPG Maker for maybe 4 or 5 years now, I've never completed or published any RPGs. Hopefully, I'll be able to soon. If I ever do, feel free to say whatever you want about them. Note that I don't make them namely for a fanbase but more of for my own self-enjoyment, however, constructive criticism is always welcome.
Right now I have absolutely no inspiration for any future projects. I've juggled a few ideas for either new things for my current project (which is borderline hiatus right now) and new ideas but nothing is satisfying me -_-

New Pokemon Black & White Info. OH NOES MORE POKEYMANS!
post=145175I agree with Ratty, why the hell does the main character of Pokemon always have to start out in some backwater town in the middle of nowhere. It was even worse in D/P/Pl because that starting town didn't even have the Pokemon Lab in it. And why is it that it never has a Pokemon Center either? Cinnebar Island had a Pokemon center, and that was more backwater than Pallet Town (with the exception of the gym.) If it's because the CEO of the Pokemon Center Foundation (yeah, I'm rambling now :D) thinks putting one in the middle of nowhere is a bad idea that wastes money, all right. But wait, how in the world do Pokemon Centers make money when they don't charge you to heal your Pokemon!? So Pokemon get special treatement eh!? If I break my arm fixing my roof then I have to pay a fortune to have a doctor fix it, but if my Pikachu gets mutilated by a Charizard, the Pokemon Center is like "oh, no problem" *heals Pikachu* "have a nice day." Use some of that magical healing crap on my arm will yah!! D:<

Do you prefer "strong" or "sissy" protagonists?
I'm not really sure which one I prefer seeing as though I've encountered both good and bad versions of both.
I think I prefer strong a little more. I do think having a sissy character is a way to boost character development, but my god, when you have a sissy hero like Emil from ToS:KoR, you just can't help but smash your head against a wall and give up all hope for any other sissy character.

Playing Dragon Age Origins, Skies of Arcadia, Nostalgia, Final Fantasy IV, Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion, and Lunar Silver Star Harmony all at the same time because I'm just hardcore like that. >:D

Actually, Fusoya was a terrible character. His stats are very low and either don't go up at all (DS) or rise very slowly (SNES/GBA). However, Edge and Edward had the potential to be absolute beasts.
I didn't really use Fusoya for a very long time so for the most part he was okay. Maybe my levels just sucked or something.
True, Edge has potential, but other than his speed, I didn't find him very useful and his ninjutsu almost never helped any. Shuriken were the only things that were really useful.

Edward I think was colored that way because in FF4 he was a sicky kind of guy. Still, the color scheme utilized makes him look very similar to another annoying creepish fictional character of the same name.
But wait, in FF4 Advanced you could change your party!? That is crap for the DS remake, where they tease you with good characters like Yang and Fusoya and stick you with someone as useless as Edge! Granted that was forgivable on the SNES (or NES, I forget) because of the times, but for the DS that's pretty bad. And no, augments don't even begin to justify it.
Back on topic however...
That man on the right is the most annoying f*cker to ever show his face in Pokemon.

Yes Tidus was annoying, but I got used to it, and even started to like his character by the end of the game.
Advent Children had some good CGI, but really should've stayed a 15 minute fan-thingy.
Never played FFXII, but my sis says that Vaan is annoying.
God yes, Navi was annoying. When you think about it though, a lot of those cute companion things are pretty annoying, such as that thing from TotAbyss, Nall from Lunar (although some of his dialogue is a little funny), and pretty much anything like that.

Action 52 RMN - Real Men Edition
It seems a lot of people are taking their hands at something Action 52-related. Another website is remaking all 52 games calling it Action 52 OWNZ.
