YEASTER'S PROFILE

Hi! Thank you for peeping at my profile.

I like making modern-themed games. My first game, Onyx, was made in 2006, when I was a senior in high school. So it's pretty ROUGH, but people seem to like it? Total Chaos is my personal favorite, but it has some, erm, issues, too. Mystery Man Zero is coming you guys, I haven't forgotten about it. A full-game will come out even if it takes 10 years. Oh gosh, I hope it doesn't take that long, but you get what I'm saying, right?

Right now, I am also working on A Nightmare in Sunnydale, a horror genre mesh-up fangame, if you will. I also like playing games. Actually, playing RPGM games is legit one of my favorite pastimes. *insert smiley here*

When I can fit it in, I do a little bit of Gatekeeper as well, a sci-fi fantasy about a team of god-lite forces, Gatekeepers, who have to protect the dying Earth from forces they don't even know about.

If thou think they can take it, download some of my stuff!

^^I was also gonna mention Chrono Cross but that game was never good, so it doesn't fit this topic, I guess...?
GameSpot awarded the game a perfect 10, one of only six games in the 40,000 games listed on Gamespot to have been given the score, and its Console Game of the Year Award for 2000. IGN gave the game a score of 9.7, and Cross appeared 89th in its 2008 Top 100 games list. Famitsu rated the game 36 out of 40 from four reviewers. As of July 2007, Game Rankings rates Chrono Cross at 92 percent.

Well, FF12 has a lot of high scores too, but... No one can convince that's a good game.

I rather liked Chrono Cross, though the storyline got a little WTF after disc 1 and I hated what it did to Chrono Trigger. Still, I had fun playing it. I just didn't take it very seriously because it was clear they were just making up shit.

Best videogame character.

Honorable mention:

What game is she from?

Total Chaos.

Kidding.

She's from Soul Hackers, a game that was set to be released in the US but rejected by Sony because they're full of shit.

Anyways, the same guys that translated Innocent Sin are going to translate this as well!

Clearly they have a ways to go, but it's happening.

Worst videogame character.

Minus the graphics, everything about SO3 was horrible. MP death was the stupidest idea ever. I haven't even considered buying SO4, and given what people have to say about it, looks like cash well saved.

Sad that SO2 will most likely be the series' creative peak.

Best game you personally don't like.

FF10. I personally thought it got incredibly lame and terrible mid-way through, but it seems to be a really popular entry into the series, so it's probably just me.

Best videogame character.

Honorable mention:

The straight up BEST Final Fantasy

FF7's story is so asinine... mostly the subplots and random character development-related shit but even the main story is a bit silly. Like for the first half of the 1st disc it's not even clear at all why it's rational for the party to be following Sephiroth. They kind of forgot to put the plot in.

But the thing is...I actually remember Final Fantasy 7, and I've only beaten it once and I haven't even seen it since I was 14 or 15, 16 at the latest. I remember the characters, what they did, their storylines, etc. I remember the plot, the locations (where you had to go and why) and the like. FF9 - present are a giant blur in my mind, even though I enjoyed them (well, mostly just 9).

I know it's cool to hate FF7 because it's ridiculously overhyped, overrated, etc, but the game was/is amazing and was very important for the gaming industry, especially RPGs, whether you like it or not. =P

That said, my favorite Final Fantasies will always be part 4 & 6 because they were the first RPGs I've ever played/beaten. FF8 follows.

Rainbow Nightmare: Libra

The art is amazing. Seems hella time consuming, but amazing. I would've done this for Vanity if I knew how to draw.

Voice acting in games

Clips are fine, like an Aptos Adventures, but voicing an entire RM game is something that is just never going to happen, but best of luck to those who'll try!

The straight up BEST Final Fantasy

Best FF for story: FF7
Best FF for gameplay: FF12 (real time is the shit)

FF 12 Gameplay is pretty cool but easily lost, Vaan should die, they should've made Ashe or Basch (?) as their original protagonists you control as first planned!

They pretty much are. Vaan has all of five lines in the game after they join. ;P

Best videogame character.

Orig, I was totally going to post Maya!

My personal fav:
