Hi! Thank you for peeping at my profile.
I like making modern-themed games. My first game, Onyx, was made in 2006, when I was a senior in high school. So it's pretty ROUGH, but people seem to like it? Total Chaos is my personal favorite, but it has some, erm, issues, too. Mystery Man Zero is coming you guys, I haven't forgotten about it. A full-game will come out even if it takes 10 years. Oh gosh, I hope it doesn't take that long, but you get what I'm saying, right?
Right now, I am also working on A Nightmare in Sunnydale, a horror genre mesh-up fangame, if you will. I also like playing games. Actually, playing RPGM games is legit one of my favorite pastimes. *insert smiley here*
When I can fit it in, I do a little bit of Gatekeeper as well, a sci-fi fantasy about a team of god-lite forces, Gatekeepers, who have to protect the dying Earth from forces they don't even know about.

Where's Your Username From?
My username comes from the 'yeast' that can be used when baking bread. I had come home from catholic school and I was trying to register for an RM site (I was in the sixth grade), but every username I wanted was already taken. So, somewhat frustrated, I typed a potential user name I KNEW no one else would have as kind of a joke to myself, and added "er" at the end, for the same reason.

What is your opinion on "Filler"
I don't mind filler sometimes, as long as it's entertaining (like LOST's Expose episode, for an example, which is my favorite ep from that series).
But too many fillers can get annoying, especially if they're only used to drag out a tired plotline even longer. BtVS is my favorite show, but it is loaded with fillers.

The Most Important Aspect of a Game
For me, interesting characters and strong interactions between them are all I need to enjoy a game. I don't mind a by-the-books battle system or a generic plot-line as long as the characters are funny and quirky and developed properly.

Does anyone else feel overwhelmed by the number of games that go through here? I guess you have to choose what you put your time into but it usually takes me at least a few weeks to finish a game. So many of the Featured games have come and gone and I'd love to play them all but you just can't. What RM games have people wanted to play but haven't because of lack of time? For me it's pretty much all the featured games of the last few months. I have unfinished games in Total Chaos and Flashbulb Madness right now.
I'm gonna need you to finish this. :P
But in all seriousness, the number of games don't bother me. I only download about two at a time that really interest me (that are my "type"), and I spend my time with those two. I wouldn't dare try to play every single game that rolls through here.

I made two for the PS1 and they're both crap.
I tried to make one for the PS2, but I was retarded and didn't know how to use it. The furthest I got was designing my characters.

The main reason rpg maker is still 2d is because 1. japs like 2d graphics and 2. because imagine how much a 3d game maker will cost if the normal 2d maker is 60 bucks...
Imagine how much a 3D maker would cost Enterbrain to make.
