YEASTER'S PROFILE

Hi! Thank you for peeping at my profile.
I like making modern-themed games. My first game, Onyx, was made in 2006, when I was a senior in high school. So it's pretty ROUGH, but people seem to like it? Total Chaos is my personal favorite, but it has some, erm, issues, too. Mystery Man Zero is coming you guys, I haven't forgotten about it. A full-game will come out even if it takes 10 years. Oh gosh, I hope it doesn't take that long, but you get what I'm saying, right?
Right now, I am also working on A Nightmare in Sunnydale, a horror genre mesh-up fangame, if you will. I also like playing games. Actually, playing RPGM games is legit one of my favorite pastimes. *insert smiley here*
When I can fit it in, I do a little bit of Gatekeeper as well, a sci-fi fantasy about a team of god-lite forces, Gatekeepers, who have to protect the dying Earth from forces they don't even know about.
If thou think they can take it, download some of my stuff!

I wrote a *PROLOGUE*
Thanks! I actually changed/reworked the stuff that Jericho suggested. I'll add more once I make substantial progress.
How's your Christmas so far?
My holiday was great as well.
My mom didn't make any mac&cheese and I was *highly* disappointed (for two seconds, then I got over it).

New Year's Resolutions
By the end of 2011, I hope to have the first draft of my novel completed. In the beginning of 2011, I want to start looking for local art/writing groups in my city in hopes that I can find someone to *guide* me along the right path so that I can develop my skills to be the very best they can be.
What are you currently reading?
The Takers - RW Ridley
Twilight - Stephenie Meyer
Will start soon:
The Shack - WM Paul Young
The Lost Hero - Rick Riordan
Personally, I think so. I just received the movie and I'm going to watch it tonight hopefully, once I get finished with my writing-two-pages-a-day-quota. I'm going to read the second book after I get through my current pile.
There's a lot of backstory in 'Tattoo', which I know bothered some people although I wasn't bothered by it. The plot, I thought was good and I didn't have issues with the writing itself (although the characters love to drink coffee, smoke, and fuck).
You can't really box it into a specific genre, and I'm a sucker for things that can't be easily defined. It's an acquired taste for sure, but I loved it. Make of that what you will. =P

Is that trilogy worth reading or should I just watch the movies? They seem really interesting but I gots lotsa other books to read.
The Turn of the Screw by Henry James.

SECRET SANTA 2010 RESULTS!
Cool review! A 3/5 is more or less what I was expecting, but I always go into reviews expecting the *worst* so I'm pleased with it. Now that the reviewer mentioned it, I really shouldn't have put some of those status affects in there... I don't know what I was thinking.
I had no idea the sound effects were that loud. It was just the rtp! haha
