Hi! Thank you for peeping at my profile.
I like making modern-themed games. My first game, Onyx, was made in 2006, when I was a senior in high school. So it's pretty ROUGH, but people seem to like it? Total Chaos is my personal favorite, but it has some, erm, issues, too. Mystery Man Zero is coming you guys, I haven't forgotten about it. A full-game will come out even if it takes 10 years. Oh gosh, I hope it doesn't take that long, but you get what I'm saying, right?
Right now, I am also working on A Nightmare in Sunnydale, a horror genre mesh-up fangame, if you will. I also like playing games. Actually, playing RPGM games is legit one of my favorite pastimes. *insert smiley here*
When I can fit it in, I do a little bit of Gatekeeper as well, a sci-fi fantasy about a team of god-lite forces, Gatekeepers, who have to protect the dying Earth from forces they don't even know about.

Square Enix loses all sanity, announces Final Fantasy 13-2
Unpopular opinion I guess, but I couldn't play more than an hour of FF12 at any given time. The game was stunning, but I'm not really THAT much of a gameplay junkie, so after a while I need something *more* to keep me interested. The characters were very, very, very plain and boring imho (sans Ashe and Balthier) and while the game definitely had a plot, it was so spaced out that by the time I had stumbled into the next cutscene, I had forgotten a lot of what had happened before.
And the game was just too goddamn long. I had about 55+ hours clocked in, saw that I was only at the midway point, and was like "ughhh..."
It definitely had a lot going for it, but it just wasn't for me.

Character Development?
Another reason to avoid basing characters in your friends is that they will realize they're based on them, and pressure you about how you treat the character. They will want more screen time, they will want to be more powerful, they won't want to be killed off.
Do people really encounter this, though?
The author should always make the best decisions for his/her story, and if their friend's avatar has to be killed...well, I'm sure they'll get over it!
What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?

The only FF game I didn't enjoy all that much was part 12, but other than that, they are definitely solid games, imo. Each one has its pros and cons -- but none of them failed to be entertaining, at least to me (sans FF12). FF4 & 8 are my favorites, but that's mainly because of nostalgia.
I'm drawn to more edgier stuff now, so the FF games no longer hold my interest, but I don't hold Square accountable for that, though.I had just simply grown up.

If you thought Zed was a douche here, he was even worse in the minor role he had in the first Onyx. But he was fun to write for -- make of that what you will. =P

I was JUST listening to this literally one second ago! I've been listening to her nearly every day since I discovered her last year.
Anyway, I listen to music when I'm working out and when I'm out and about
My music taste is kind of embarrassing though, so I won't post any of it, but I will say that I am a *proud* Amerie and Nelly Furtado (and Kelis) stan, if for no other reason that they came out during an important time my childhood, so I kind of have this strange loyalty/sentimental value-thing towards them. It also helps that they make albums that I enjoy.
