YEASTER'S PROFILE

Hi! Thank you for peeping at my profile.

I like making modern-themed games. My first game, Onyx, was made in 2006, when I was a senior in high school. So it's pretty ROUGH, but people seem to like it? Total Chaos is my personal favorite, but it has some, erm, issues, too. Mystery Man Zero is coming you guys, I haven't forgotten about it. A full-game will come out even if it takes 10 years. Oh gosh, I hope it doesn't take that long, but you get what I'm saying, right?

Right now, I am also working on A Nightmare in Sunnydale, a horror genre mesh-up fangame, if you will. I also like playing games. Actually, playing RPGM games is legit one of my favorite pastimes. *insert smiley here*

When I can fit it in, I do a little bit of Gatekeeper as well, a sci-fi fantasy about a team of god-lite forces, Gatekeepers, who have to protect the dying Earth from forces they don't even know about.

If thou think they can take it, download some of my stuff!

RMN Closing Down April 2nd

I really am going to miss the game pages. I felt as though this website was the most successful in that area compared to other sites.

All good things must come to an end, I suppose... I do agree that some members had their heads firmly up their asses, but that's a given with any message board. If you ignore the e-drama, I found the website to be very enjoyable.

It just kinda sucks for me because this is the only RM website I frequently visit. The other sites don't really have the same ~impact~ for me.

Does anyone think this review is biased.

Terrible post alert, but People find enjoyment in various things. Simply put, people like what they like. If the reviewer really enjoyed the game and felt it was deserving of a 4/5 based on how much fun HE had with it, then that's his opinion. It doesn't mean he's wrong.

I've just submitted my review for Castle Chase, so expect to see it up in the next couple of days. Next up is Nightmare in Sunnydale, and Dream Odyssey has been added to the queue.

I look forward to hearing your thoughts, negative or positive.

Looking for Games to Review

Are you looking for full games or demos? If it doesn't really matter, I wouldn't mind some feedback on 'A Nightmare in Sunnydale, CA". I know, "OMG FAN GAME!" but you don't need to know a thing about the source material(s) to play it. In fact, the game assumes you know nothing about any of the people involved (and I didn't go too in-depth about what they did in their original stuff -- I only included what was relevant).

It's about 3-5 hours long.

It's very, very dark yet very, very sarcastic. I like it so far. There are a lot of original ideas here. You can tell she probably spent months planning out every detail of her world before writing this.

So I'm the only one who thought it was sweet, then? lol

It seemed more like a sneak peek than an actual trailer, though. It didn't really show much.

All of the other games aside, Kingdom Hearts was a masterpiece. The combat system may have been button mashy and you had to roll around like a motherfucker to not get hit, but I always felt the battles were really intense.

But what really made the game was attention to detail regarding Disney's work. Not only did they do a lot of good work recreating all of the worlds and characters in 3d, but they got as many of the original voice actors as they could. They did a really good job of showing how each of the characters would react to all these heartless and incorporate these heartless into their storylines, and the overall story about hearts and kingdom hearts is something you could have seen in a disney movie straight up, and it felt like it.

Basically, it felt like I was playing a Disney Movie. But with final fantasy characters who were as happy go lucky as a disney protagonist. With themes you could find in a Disney movie melded into a Final Fantasyesque storyline.

This game is the most cohesive out of them all. If this had been a movie instead of a game, it would have been just as good.

I agree.

I didn't play the sequel, but KH1 was pretty awesome. The game was basically nostalgia heaven for me. I liked the Disney stuff better than the Square stuff though, but both complimented each other really well, better than I thought they would.
