RPG Maker 2003 Question of Legalities
There's a niche in everything. You may not appreciate it, but that doesn't mean others feel the same way. RM2K and RM2K3 produced some really great games, but they also produced some fairly horrid ones as well. Same as with XP, same as with VX, and the same as with Ace.
RM2K3 offers things by default that other programs do not. Not everybody wants or cares to use scripts, so having more upfront caters to those kind of people.

When the mood strikes! (and leaves for vacation again)
It happens to me all the time. But the main problem with me is I enjoy playing games much more so than designing them. That doesn't mean I don't have any creative ideas I'd like to see made into a game; it just means I have to balance out playing with developing.
Should the last boss be super challenging?
A recap on what I mentioned over at RMW on a similar topic:
A super optional boss doesn't have to have a desire to take on the world. It could be an ancient monster of sorts that has no more intelligence than a mere animal, and only knows how to survive, eat, and sleep.
The main villain doesn't have to be the strongest, but he should be one of the most cunning. An intelligent foe will know how to stand behind his army to get them to do his bidding. Remove the army, and the foe may not have any other recourse. Also, a scientific-minded foe may rely on technology to get what he wants. Main villains should have a primary goal; how he achieves that goal is a different matter, and it doesn't always have to be through brute force alone.

RPG Maker 2003 Question of Legalities
From what I'm gathering, the argument is that you can bypass a lot of the Lite Trial's limitations through clever manipulation without hacking the actual program (ie., like LockeZ stated about using the 30-day trial to make your scripts and then port them over to Lite).
Note, in the following thoughts, I use the term "illegal" subjectively, meaning a breach of the EULA, since only the courts can decide what is truely illegal.
If it only becomes illegal once you hack Lite to alter the way it functions, then using other alternatives to break the limitations should be considered okay, even if it's low on the moral compass. In LockeZ's suggestion about using the 30-day version to get around Lite, no hacking is involved.
But if it becomes illegal to break the limitations of Lite, even if it's not done through hacking, and Lite shares the same EULA as the full version, then it implies that breaking the limitations of the full version (even without hacking) also becomes a breach of the EULA, unless somewhere in that EULA it distinctly implies what parts of the EULA are applied to which versions:
Something like - breaking the limitations in the full program without hacking is allowed, but breaking the limitations in Lite (even without hacking) is not allowed.
I agree, Lite is limited for a reason - to get people to buy the full version. But the question becomes, is it legal to bypass those limitations when hacking is not involved?

Feel free to take a stab at my own game, Night of the Living Noobs, if it meets your fancy:
http://rpgmaker.net/games/5050/downloads/
The last review gave some really good feedback, even if it wasn't his kind of story, and I've made some much needed adjustments to the nature of balancing the game out.
Just a pre-warn: It's a comedy driven game, a bit heavy on story at times, and primarily focuses on RPG Maker communities and the noobs that invade them, specifically RPG Revolution. Knowing what it's about will help you decide whether or not it's something you'd want to play.
If you're still interested, a fresh perspective is always nice, especially now that stats have been changed to make the game less of a grind fest.
Edit: I should mention that it will take about 8 to 10 hours to complete, if that helps you prioritize other commitments first.

For the first time
Not a game, but fits into the "first time" topic.
The year is 1985. I'm only 7 years old. My parents went away for a couple weeks in the summer to spend time with relatives, and I got to stay with my best friend and his family. One weekend, they decided to go see a movie and piled us into the car. It was on this day that I first got to travel back in time with 'Back to the Future', one of my all time favorite movies even today.
It was also my earliest memory of milk duds. I hated trying to chew those things, but oh lord, they tasted so great!
Man, I wish movies had that same effect now they did then, when going to the movie theater was a big event.

Arch Menara
I'm confused. The game is listed in Early Project Feedback at RMW, but here it says it's complete? Yet the only link to a download is at RMW.
