I am not getting this problem.
On my computers, it runs correctly, and I've managed to finish the game. This is an XP. I've tried at least on version on Windows 7, as well.
(What OS are you using? And do you have a 2k3 rtp file? And what was the last thing you did/saw before it did this?)

Seasons for Seasons
I have two issues with this game. The first is around where you have frogs and chickens (and after you set up tent for the night), there is a ledge you can enter directly from the side instead of from the stairs. Also, when I was near the side enemies could sometimes attack me.
Second... I have no idea how to get the rope hanging over the waterfall. I can't push the rocks either so I'm stuck.

I can see this story coming a mile off, and it's still entertaining! Good job.
Uh, I do have one concern though. The menus thing seems to have alot of invisible stuff (I couldn't manage to put fileutils.rb anywhere and so I'd go to Equip menu and not be able to see the pointer arrow in menus). What do I do to get these things to display?

Holy crap, my pretty much finished except bugtesting/extras game is under 130 MB total, and this is with voices and special music. I shudder to think what a heavy version would be like...

Better to try something big and fail horribly, than try something safe and do okay.
...What the hell, strangeluv? The image and battle format is the same quality as a Home Far Away. Go ahead and finish it.
"Popular" games are often popular because they appeal to a mass market. Concentrate on building the events, and who cares what people think. Make this a Complete game at least. A game is only bad if you don't keep trying hard on it.
