Half-Off Hero: The World Needs Savings Review

author=Craze
Heh, I've been meaning to try this. Good to hear it's worth my while!

Awesome! Let me know what you think if you get a chance to try it out. Always looking for feedback on my projects. It's a different kind of game so I'm interested in what you have to say.

Half-Off Hero: The World Needs Savings Review

Ooooohhh snap! My other game's got itself a review! Thanks so much for the kind words! It means a lot. This project was a real departure for me and was quite the learning experience from what I'm used to but I'm glad somebody enjoyed my experimental game for IGMC so much. Especially enough to get all the endings and seem to really have had a great time!

Hopefully one day I can come back to Half-Off Hero and give it some visual and mechanical updates to streamline the whole experience a lot more. We'll see what the future holds because for now school and other projects have my attention. Thanks again good sir/madam!

No Dungeon For Old Men

flip the story timeline around! Make it be an old fogey who has to save the day

Lol! And he has to reach the end of each floor before kicking the bucket. He regains a little bit of youth after each boss. I'd play it.

I gave my baby a heavy magic build so my first ally was a Swordace with a fast bruiser build. I tried Pyrolancer next but wasn't wild about it, since the game heavily favors focusing in Brains or Brawn, not both, and the Pyrolancer's skill set didn't play well with that. I switched her for a Mantrist with the lovely party buffs and my fourth was a Peddler with her amazing whistle.

Nice! I'm glad to see someone use the Peddler. She's one of my favorites.

Wow! I wasn't expecting another review for this game. I'm glad you enjoyed it so much Solitayre! This was a great read and I really got the sense of how much fun you had crawling in my dungeons. I wonder what your favorite companions were.

I might make a sequel to this game in the future with different play mechanics and a greater emphasis on story. We'll see how things go though. Time is stretched thin for me these days. Thanks for the kind words good sir! They really made my day.

Free Spirits Review

Thanks for writing this review kumada, it rocketed this game to the top of my IGMC playlist and I'm glad I got to play it sooner. Very enjoyable!

Wow. That is one positive review! Thanks for the kind words! Didn't realize you liked the contest version that much. For a game I made in a month, it's really getting some love. Hopefully I can churn something out this summer before school starts again this fall!

Oh wow! 4/5 stars! Thanks for the review Liberty! Glad to hear feedback from the actual judge that played the game! Hope my next project is as well-received.

Thanks for the review kentona! I'm glad you liked it. For a genre most people loathe I'm happy to see positive feedback!
Hopefully my next project won't take too long to finish. :)

Baby on board, how I've adored
That sign on my car's windowpane.
Bounce in my step,
Loaded with pep,
'Cause I'm driving in the carpool lane.
Call me a square,
Friend, I don't care.
That little yellow sign can't be ignored.
I'm telling you it's mighty nice.
Each trip's a trip to paradise
With my baby on board!

Thanks for the review Kylaila!
