DOING IT! ~ WEEK ONE
So here's my contribution to this topic and anybody can freely take it for their own:
There have been a few games in which I have encountered bosses in which different parts of the body serve as enemies with different functions.
The most simplest one I can think of would be the crab. The large claw or pincer would serve for physical attacks and could have several related skills, for example, pinch. The smaller claw could serve for buff/debuffs and healing, while main body of the crab could use magic spells based on water.
The most complex one I have seen and can think of as practical is the octopus (centipedes would be to complicated to implement), where basically you have a body and 4 sets of arms. The body, again would cast magic spells based on water. Each of the sets of arms could serve different purposes: buffing/debuffing, causing status ailments (with the skill Ink causing mass blindness), healing and physical attacks.
There are also versions of this in which a couple of the parts need to be eliminated first because they provide physical and magical immunity, respectively, to the main body. Those parts, will obviously be immune to those kinds of attack, respectively, but not to other type.

Everguard, since you have been releasing so many versions of your game, you might want to have a version history similar to EpiQuest's to note what changes have been made in each.

Yay! Thank you for the honors!
And thank you very much for the help! You're a helping machine. If you play this final version, I hope you don't mind that I haven't changed everything you suggested, but I did change a lot of things you said.
I DO mind ... not, they were just suggestions. That's what I'm curious to see. BTW, that approval must have been the quickest in recent RMN history!
EDIT: You're welcome. Hopefully, next time it'll be with less time constraints. :-)

EpiQuest Review
Yes, liza. To the avoid the encounters, you have to able to dodge or run away from the sprites that generate the battles, which is not always possible, especially in some dungeons, where they actually chase you or the paths are very narrow. The rate of respawning seems to vary a lot from dungeon to dungeon.
I also loved all the attention you got from the dogs as well!
