EPLIPSWICH'S PROFILE

Just one of those who enjoys playing indie RPGs and looks out for really good-quality ones.

I'm also an unofficial game translator and have finished English translations of two top-quality Japanese RPG Maker RPGs: Seraphic Blue and Nocturne: Rebirth. Both games and their game pages can be accessed on the right of this profile.

Finally, I'm currently working on translating a visual novel called Aiyoku no Eustia :) I'm also eyeing on three future Japanese RPG Maker RPGs that I may plan to translate in order of priority once they're out and I've played them. The official and blog sites are as follows:

I haven't played your game (or pretty much any other RM game), so I am just speaking to you as a general person. Just take heed that I am probably not the only one who does this. You have to make sure that you hook them in somehow in that first hour.

I can't emphasize enough that first impression is extremely important in anything.

Would you mind if I did a LT of the game? I shall endeavour to be fair enough about it.

Good luck enduring the intro/beginning. If you can go past that, maybe you will see the fruit of the labor?

In all fairness, Super_Stunner, if you want to silence the critics, I think you would better show a video or two from mid-game (or 20 hours into the game) to illustrate the "great gameplay" that you so mention. Since you did say before the game will get fun 20 hours into the game. Otherwise, this rampage will never end. By trying to tell others to "screw off" and go play other games, you are only cowering/being a coward. What is needed is proof and evidence.

Furthermore, having a game only fun 20 hours into the game is TERRIBLY BAD. First impression is always everything in a game. You should seriously have a revamp of the 1st 20 hours into the game, really.

Don't just keep saying people have only played 1% blah blah blah. If you want to prove the game is good 20 hours into the game, prove it with a gameplay video. And like I've said, first impression is very important in everything. If first impression fails, no matter how good or great or better the game gets later in the game, no one will buy it.

I think this game is more geared towards the younger generation (the target audience of this game), so for us oldies, it would suck.

I'm just wondering how old lordsummon is? For him to like this game, he must around 14 or 15 or something at the max...Unless you would prove me wrong.

But what does it matter? Fire1 is the first in a list of incrementally more powerful Fire skills. I don't want to have to remember which is more powerful; Flame or Fire Release. I admit, having a skill called "Spark" that is just like Lightning0.5 is a bit silly (it should just be replaced, if it's only going to do basic damage).

If one is being realistic in a game, Fire1 doesn't make any sense. No one would cry out "Fire1!" when he casts the most basic fire spell.

Imagine casting the strongest fire spell, and the caster goes, "FIRE3!!" -.-

Of course if you don't care about realism, by all means.

Fuck It Review

That got some attention! Damn! Okay, 'hate crime' was a silly call. When I've been up for three days I say weird shit. But now Fire God's reputation has been destroyed and now people will think that my work is crap so all I can say now is fuck it.

Another one who goes emo just because of one bad review.

Seriously, if you're just gonna let one bad review pull you down, you won't ever improve and make your game even better to prove the review wrong.

Everlasting Journey Review

Pepsi, you should be glad Craze even bothered to review your game. If he thinks your game is not worth improving, he wouldn't even review in the first place.

You seriously can't go emo and say you're quiting just because of 1 person (and 1 review).

Original Block Land Review

Jak, doesn't mean it's clear to you means it's clear to others. You are seriously being self-indulged in here.

Have fun staying at your computer the whole day to comment on all others' opinions. No life you have indeed.

Original Block Land Review

Jak, if you seriously want your game to be appreciated, you must first learn how to accept criticism. In this community, people wouldn't even bother criticising your game if they think your game isn't much fun. People criticise because they you to improve. If you start fuming because they can't learn to appreciate your game, then clearly there is something wrong with you and your game.

Think Simon Cowell. If you truly want to improve, then learn to listen to criticism. It's either you learn to accept or ignore. If you can't even accept criticsm, then I suggest you forget about making games in the first place.

No way are you gonna improve and have more people appreciate your game if you are just gonna become so oversensitive and fume your way through, and let your ego take over.
