Catharsis

Very nice job on everything so far, especially the interface.

Ran into this problem where the lady is blocking the exit out of the house and won't move out of the way:

@Keiron
Are you being serious?
What I had in mind for an Otome mode was an alternate storyline taking place at the same school, meaning that a new prologue and new generic endings, etc would have to be written. And a lot of other changes which would require plenty of testing. It's true though that it's the most requested feature.

Sfx?

Well, okay, but those are just ripped from a game (one of my favorite games, but still....)

That's pretty funny. If it was from trying to examine the fireplace for hidden loot, I would laugh out loud.

RGSS Addon

Cool! I think that's a great idea.
I sort of expect some of them to be laggy, but they could still be useful.

Sfx?

I know there are voice-acting sites you can go to request this, but I don't know of any existing female battle sfx ready to use. I'm also interested in this! Please let me know if you find some!

Yes! A teacher! I was wondering when somebody would make one.

I've gone ahead and added the cheats to the custom content page.

What should go into a manual?

(edit: I was responding to eplipswich)
^ And that's probably why commercial game publishers don't put "known bugs" in their manuals. It doesn't help things from a marketing standpoint. That doesn't mean it doesn't serve a purpose.

When possible, I think it's better to have an online system for tracking bugs so users can report them, as is done on SourceForge. Pick any random project on SourceForge and you will find a list of known bugs, in some cases a very long list. Bugs are a reality of programming, like the OP said. Any project that doesn't have bugs is either made by godlike programmers, or (more likely) is not all that interesting or complex. As a player, there is a point at which the cost of bug saturation for the tradeoff of complexity becomes worthwhile to me. Skyrim, for instance.

A manual is also a logical place to put troubleshooting stuff like what to do when the user can't get the game to run on their system.

Custom content (archived discussion)

Yeah, I think so :) When I saw the DISLIKES it made me hesitate at first since Keika isn't normally the type to get upset and show it. When she's disappointed she usually just looks down. But being upset in defense of her friend would be one of the very few situations it would suit her.

Request: RMXP Interior Tileset for a late night talk show

Since no one has replied....
I've never seen a tileset with all those things, and I think you'll have trouble finding someone willing to make one for you. Your best bet is to make one yourself. Half of those things can be found on any tileset--walls, floors, desk, chairs--and there are good modern-looking tilesets out there to start from. Some of the others, like cameras, may have to be made from edits or even from scratch.
