Thoughts:

I know I'm getting old because this "trigger warning" stuff is silly to me. Is the younger generation really so sensitive and coddled that they can't just deal with uncomfortable subjects as they come up?

Also, it's LoL. It is played primarily by boys in their teens and 20s. Boys like pretty girls. Calling a girl pretty is not abuse or harassment. Female and male bodies are designed specifically to ... ahem... trigger certain reactions. Acknowledging differences in the two sexes is not abuse or harassment. If you are uncomfortable with portrayals of women with attractive body shapes in games, that's your own issue that should be dealt with, and those who enjoy attractive body shapes in women should not be vilified.

I disagree that Fiona looked mannish or like a tranny or old lady. I thought she looked quite striking in her own unique way. Didn't need a re-design. Though, I don't really care because the re-design is also good. Also, NEVER heard people complain about her design before. Must be a very loud minority.

That said, if Riot wants to cater to THEIR audience, because they want to continue to make tons of money, they should. Keeps the lights on, keeps people employed. That's a lot more important than some very, very sensitive minority's feelings.

Sorry. I know I have a completely bigoted and insensitive point of view when it comes with this stuff.

My approach to Religion is mostly theological and political.

Basically, while I'm not a hardcore practicing Christian, I recognize the advantages to society and civilization that a Judeo-Christian-inspired culture tend to have. One reason for the dominance of the West. (Up until about 4 years from now.)

I also recognize the destruction wrought by religion in the past, and some religions in the present. I make no apologies for these views. If people can associate Dylan Roof with THE ENTIRE WHITE SOUTH, (and they do) then I could associate the worst of Islam with the entire 1 billion of the religion. I choose not to, but I still recognize the cultural weaknesses that spawn from that part of the world.

Militant atheists tend to be somewhat tyrannical. Not all, but to deny that there is an aspect of American society that is hostile to Christianity would be a tad short-sighted. Freedom of Religion, Freedom of association - these are constitutional rights that no one should be denied. Counter-culturists would do well to remember that.

It's threads like this that remind me why I'm a Libertarian.

Stop banning shit. Stop censoring and silencing. Gays finally rightfully got the rights they deserve, so use this as an opportunity to come together, not cause even further divisions.

This mob mentality is the real danger here. You absolutely must allow for the free flow of ideas. Honestly, even though I am very much in favor of LGBT rights, they need to do a WAY better job respecting the rights of others to both have religious beliefs and dissenting opinions.

Banning, censoring, silencing is tyranny, folks.
