Any libertarians here?

not sure where / how you drew a line between fiscal policy and authoritarianism
You really need this explained?
Anti-capitalist fiscal policy is economically restrictive. You can't force anyone to do anything without laws, and laws are backed by the barrel of a gun. That's what authority is.

In theory capitalism works. In theory.
I would say, given the history of civilization, it has gone well beyond theory. Free societies have tended to endure much better than authoritarian societies.

Large, do you have any other biomes in your world map chipset? The entire thing is the same temperate grasslands/forest separated by mountains, and it's a bit overwhelming. It might help to categorize the different areas with some snow, desert, wasteland, etc.

For the record, WIP thinks that it's a terrible idea and a "defiling of his work," so.
Translation: I'm taddling on you >:(
Seriously though. Ignores won't happen unless there is a serious problem. And the consequences of it are so trivial. And many, many forums have this feature.

Users have to choose to ignore. If there are no random public outbursts that are a result of lingering inter-user squabbles, I doubt there will be any actual ignores.

Nah. Haters are useful idiots and the higher-ups are just war profiteers.
Central bankers are the real cancer on this earth.
Central bankers and the politicians who get in bed with them. Takes two to tango.

Can I use some of the chipsets in this game? This was amazing I'm glad you released the demo at least.
Go for it. I have no idea where I got them from, but I'm 100% sure they're commercial game rips.

An intelligent ultra liberal American hegemonist? interesting.
Edit : so there's still hope...
While I appreciate the vote of confidence, I am not an ultra-liberal American hegemonist. I am a socially liberal fiscally conservative believer in the rule of law and peace through strength. It's a fairly common set of values.
Principals of basic human freedom and liberty will always win the intellectual debate. I'm not afraid of that. The reason we often don't is because most of the time, we don't control (manipulate) the language, and thus, we lose the marketing war as it is much easier to sway the whimsical hearts of people by appealing to their emotions, something the authoritarian ultra-left does extremely well.
