MAIA'S PROFILE

My name is not Maia, but instead it is something that I was dubbed on Don Migel's old forum for the first game that I showed off to the public. My generic name was changed into Maia, and since then I have been Maia. I am a girl, I am old compared to some other people, in fact for the majority of RPG Makers, I am twice their age.

I was born in Russia, and moved to America when I was a teenager, but not as an exchange student. Back in Russia, I am a published author and I have written two dozen books. One dozen of which have been published.

Your 3 factors to create a good game

1. Fun
Why else would people play it if the game were not fun? I have made a lot of games, a lot of them were not fun, because they were not challening or did not have enough quirky rewards. I heard about it from everyone. Comedy is a lot more appealing when sitting infront of a computer screen than hardcore action, cause a RPG just isn't going to get hardcore.

2. Short & Sweet
Keep games short, make lots of good games. Sometimes ideas make better movies than television shows if you know what I mean.

3. Fleshy Depth
Sure that sounds weird, but people like to be immersed in a world that they can realize is your game instead of *just like everyone else's*. Flesh out your game with details that will again, make your game fun.

The ice tower of Sheol is too cold to trek through without a way to keep warm.

There are many dead bodies piled up from the cold.

It will take more than the king's permission to get past the guard that blocks the way.

Hope not to see the dungeon of Fort Weston.

Class changes can leave a single character with some interesting skills.

A boss fight with an interesting background.

The mysterious ruins.

A pit of dead animals that are there for a reason.

The witches were bannished from the village for accurately seeing the futre.

Just a demonstration of how long I have been playing the game.

A canoe can take you to mysterious places.

A very intelligent cave to be in full of tricks and traps.

There are secrets everywhere.

This looks like a great shot :-) Love the colors.

You need to get some screenshots up or a download before people rate your game down the tubes. Show us something or the makers of this website should remove it :-)

Review Request

I am trying to find a reviewer for my project World Crafters. It is at V.9 and has been going since March 2008. The game is for RPGM VX and on some forums my post for the game have gotten 5000 views total and get 100 hits each day, but no one comments, posts or reviews the game. On this site alone I've had 135 downloads in 3 weeks.

So I was wondering what people actually think of the game.

Look at it, review it please :-)

Maia 2K3

Silly Ninja Kingdom Hearts 3

I just wanted to say that you have 3 downloads, some say fixed, others say real. Take off the old downloads so I know which one I should *really* download.

Maybe if Pikachu's art style matched Mario and Luigi the game would look better?

World Crafters v.10.1

People contributed so much that they are all working on their own VX games now. If they fail, World Crafters will grow hungry to consume their games.
