I would agree with harmonic too, I like pretty girls.

Chicks are for fags.

So I bought a PS3 [Recommend me some games]

I thought I just read somewhere by someone that Legend of Mana sucks...

Everyone but Shadowtext thinks this.

Re: diets
I've been trying to cut down on my sodium since I have high blood pressure. It's very difficult, especially when cooking just isn't a viable option.

Yeah man up until about the age of 22 you are like I AM INVINCIBLE GIVE ME BIG MACS but then all the sudden you notice that you are capable of gaining weight and spicy food gives you acid reflux and flaming shits and salt makes you feel tense and miserable and man spinach is actually pretty awesome and maybe I need more fiber in my diet and usually by the time this realization occurs you have heart disease and hemorrhoids and chronic constipation and you sleep two hours a night because of your fucking job and you are morbidly obese so when you sunbathe your man-tits leave white arcs on your chest where the sun doesn't reach and it's pretty embarassing and your wife thinks you are disgusting so you have to buy her a designer rug just for a handjob but if she catches you masturbating IT'S OVER BUDDY and you want to change your life for the better but it's too late maybe next time padre this is America maybe a new sports car will make you feel young again. Oh and by the way you are probably balding.

Hacked PSP Sexyness

but it's kinda sad how something as big as God of War Chains of Olympus barely sold.

Ummm I don't think this is true. Internet nerds pirate a lot of games but the general population doesn't (they have morals). The NPD results aren't out yet but I wouldn't be too surprised if GoW broke 1 million and I would expect it to have sold at least 500,000 in its first month.

And yea PSP sucks as a console if used for its intended purposes

I also disagree with this. Most of the games people play on their hacked PSPs are pirated PSP games and not emulated games. A lot of people (myself included) play a lot of ROMs for a week or two but the novelty wears off quickly.

Apparently, playing PSP games off the memory stick makes the loading faster and uses less battery.

This is correct. Another benefit is that the system is much quieter. I believe the newer slim models have faster loading and are quieter and have higher battery life when reading the disc, though. However note that newer firmwares have made the PSP greatly more efficient in recent months and the gap in life between memory stick loading and disc loading is shrinking. I really wish that the PSP would support install of games on a memory stick legally, and maybe require that the original PSP disc be inserted for authentication or something.

...My feet are probably going to fall off now due to some extremely long shits...

Your feet will be fine but you will get hemorrhoids. This is actually not an urban legend but is true. Try to limit your pooping to 15 minutes or less or the last 40 years of your life will be truly, tragically miserable.

To prove this you should do research on the squat-style toilet. In countries where people squat instead of sitting on a ring while pooping there is almost no incidence of homorrhoids. In America however the rate is about 40% of men at some point in life.

Just saying. You don't want the 'rroids man.

I hope it's a diet for gaining weight, Scrawny!

Actually, I got pretty fat over the winter and I want to be able to go to the beach by the time June rolls around and people say like "BE COMFORTABLE WITH YOUR BODY" but I think there is a reason why there aren't many fat people at the beach :(

Also my diet consists entirely of not eating McDonald's for breakfast every single day (this is not a joke).

Things that make me happy

This topic is full of bigotry.

Also the only things I like are video games, cheesy music, and dressing like the stereotypical metrosexual guys you only see on television.

Also I am on a diet.

So I bought a PS3 [Recommend me some games]

For 3 they drastically dumbed down the battle system & character building systems, turning the entire game into an attack command mashing session as opposed to the more tactical combat of the previous two games. Congratulations!

If by "tactical" you mean "house of cards every random battle" then I might be inclined to agree! I don't think the game is dumbed at all but rather it isn't crushed by the burden of tons of needless fluff. It's unfortunate that you didn't like the game.

Also, in my opinion, the butchered version of the story is a lot better than the original story so maybe I'm glad that they went off in a new direction without consulting the writer.

Worst video games you've played this year

Yeah I quickly learned to ditch that mentality over 10 years ago when I unwittingly bought Saga Frontier

Man I could write a thesis on why SaGa Frontier is actually really amazing and that most people are approaching it the wrong way because I don't think it was ever intended to be a good video game.

$120?!?!?! Holy crap! Why?

I think he lives in one of those former Soviet Bloc contries where everything is incredibly expensive and life is generally cruel.

RPG MAKER 2000 - Still Kicking

author=Darken link=topic=858.msg11466#msg11466 date=1207290115
RPG Maker XP's engine feels abit.. clunky. I can't explain it but compare walking around in rm2k3 than XP and you'll get what I/we mean. Course it MIGHT be something that can be changed through scripting but I haven't seen any XP game that has employed such a thing.

Well I thought you were talking about featureset. RMXP certainly does "feel" awful because it's coded like absolute ass and lags on supercomputers. You probably don't like the feel of it because it's hardlocked at some random framerate and the entire engine in general is pretty amateur. WIP is the expert though.
