So like, there is a new Final Fantasy DS game
Wow . . . I really love the look of this game. I guess a lot of people have a hard time getting over jaggies or whatever but it sort of reminds me of when I was 14 (in a good way).
Dreams
The other night I was reliving a traumatic event in a tortured dream. I woke up to see a black figure standing over the bed - a person. I screamed, and lunged out of bed, tackling the figure. We crashed down, hard. I started to squeeze as hard as I could; I was intending to kill the person that had appeared in my bedroom.
Suddenly, I came to my sense. I was on the floor, and my girlfriend was screaming in pain and terror and confusion. I sprang up and snapped on the light. I explained the situation and apologized. She forgave me.
But I don't know guys . . . I feel really bad. I have been afraid of falling asleep because I might hurt my girlfriend again.

Internet persona vs "Real life" persona
post=96952
Hey, a lot of us are real adults with jobs and studies too, you know! :(
I wasn't implying you weren't :(
What about a newbie irritates you?
I don't think that being identified as a "newbie" actually has a lot to do with how much time you've spent in the community or making amateur games. It has more to do with a certain personality type that really grates on people. The type that loves to ask questions, is not particularly bright, and has no sense of humility. A generally immature person maybe?
Internet persona vs "Real life" persona
I used to really love internet communities and devote all of my time to them.
Now that I'm an adult with a real job and graduate studies . . . I am not really that interested. I like to check in every now and then.
Consequently, my internet persona has become more like my actual persona. When I used to spend a lot of time in internet communities, I had a certain alter-ego that would take over. This alter-ego was actually a pretty big jerk! I don't feel like I need to behave that way anymore, though.
I think when people spend a lot of time online, they create a different version of themselves. I was no exception.

Final Fantasy IV: The After Years
I have been holding out until this is released for some sort of portable platform in the US . . . and when the whole thing is released. I think it's probably a wonderful cell phone game, but is probably not an exceptional console game.

Spartan Cosplay Progress
I thought you meant the other kind of Spartan and that this would be a fitness blog:
But that is pretty cool! How are you going to make it shiny? (like metal)
