Actually almost a full ten percent of the U.S. population is out of a job and hundreds more are losing them every day and are struggling to support themselves and their families in light of a growing recession. No offense but this is probably the dumbest post in the topic.
The poor are poor because they deserve to be. Some people are blessed, and deserve a good life, and some people aren't. It's all part of the master plan .................................................................
Romancing SaGa (and the SaGa series!)

Feld: Have you tried The Last Remnant? It's basically a rebranded SaGa game (made by the same team, has a lot of SaGa characteristics, though the battle system is neat). Load times aside, I think you might enjoy it.
I don't know man . . . I bought it instantly after you said that. I was a little let down that it was not actually that much like a SaGa game. I think you just said that because you hate SaGa games and you don't really understand them.
The Last Remnant is fun for me, but I would never recommend it to anyone. It's one of those games - like the Spectral Force series - that really sucks but I always buy and love them.

On topic: I think it depends on how important the job is to you. If the job is important to you
It's easy to devalue a job like this before you're actually in the middle of your career.
You should absolutely never date anyone at work - unless you are pretty sure that the person is your soulmate. If so, it's worth any gamble. :) Otherwise, you don't want to screw up your career, do you?
I think your company's draconian internet monitoring policies are interesting. Are you exaggerating them? I work for the federal government, and it's not nearly that bad. A valued employee who dicks around on the internet is still a valued employee, and it's not worth firing them over fantasy football. Plus, who has the resources to employ people to monitor others' internet use? It's a pretty frivolous waste of manpower if that's the case.
Mace: The Dark Age
When I was a teenager, I thought the box art looked pretty cool, because it had that 90s, goth, bloody aesthetic that was en vogue at the time.
I've never played it though.

Best game you personally don't like.
Chrono Trigger
Is Chrono Trigger the new Final Fantasy 7? Maybe it's cool to hate it, now that the DS re-release gave it some exposure. Prior to this thread, I've never read about anyone actually not liking it. I had always thought it was one of the only classic RPGs with truly universal appeal.
I don't like the Call of Duty series. I remember renting COD4 because there was so much hype around it . . . it kind of struck me as a current generation Doom clone in the truest sense. It felt so hollow and arcadey or something? But, it's the most popular shooter ever made, so I don't know what my problem is. I like the genre well enough.
How did you find rpgmaker.net and why did you stick around?

Once upon a time, if you could use the Wayback Machine good enough, you could find a 9 year old interview or so with a young brandonabley on a site called Imbiss where he arrogantly pissed all over what would essentially become the rpgmaker.net staff. <3
Anything a person says on the internet before the age of 20 cannot be held against them. :(
What Videogames Are You Playing Right Now?
I'm playing a lot of games right now. The last few days I have gone back to Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. I pulled it out after buying Little King's Story, wanting a break, and realizing I had unfinished Wii games. It's really good. The battle save feature combined with permenant character death push the player tackle each mission one round at a time, so the strategic elements take on a different flavor than they do in traditional strategy RPGs that require you to finish the mission in one go (but are more forgiving about failure). The last over-two-hour-long mission I completed did not feel like a single mission, but like fifteen ten-minute missions.
It's not bad. It's uplifting. I think the game is a little repetitive . . . I like to play it in short blasts. I wish it had some tutorials about sorting and group-selecting your units, because those features are in there, but are obscured. Several hours into the game, I started realizing that the controls weren't nearly as bad as I thought they were; I just hadn't been informed about certain functions.
I don't think it would be much better with pointer control. I generally find that the IR sensor is too imprecise and jumpy for almost every game ever. Its clumsiness was a boon to Resident Evil 4 though!
Why don't you import? The DS is region-free, and US retailers sell games for about half the price of UK retailers.

Has anyone heard of the shooting at the Pittsburgh LA Fitness?

To clarify: over how gun control needs to be less strict and someone should have shot the guy before three people died
This sounds like an idea fostered by violent-hero video game and hollywood stories. I don't think a Wild West America would turn out the way gun nuts think it would.
Have you ever been mad enough to throw something or scream? . . . what do you think would happen if everyone carried a gun?
