I'm always working on creating something, whether it's an RPG or some form of craft. I'm always happy to hear when my work is liked by people that have played them. Although I'm just as glad when I get to experience a truly moving game.

The Last King of Hyrule

Alright, taking another crack at building a temple level. For some reason it keeps getting bigger everytime I edit it :P

I've added a mini boss, and as solitayre suggested ages ago, to add an item to be used in the level. Specifically fairy link, which helps the player to progress through the level and backtrack if he/she desires to find rupees and bonus lifes. I've also changed the boss over as I agree that shadow link belongs in the shadow temple. Re-coloured a couple sprites and hopefully the ending boss is acceptable as I found it a little too easy for my own taste. Either way, Let me know what you guys think of it, feedback is always helpful!

Sorry it took so long to get back into editing this level, I figured that there was somebody else that reserved this temple a while back, and I was unsure as if I should proceed with my own. It doesn't seem like it's an issue now as I haven't seen anything from him in a while now.

So I've been out of the loop for a little while, but I'm glad to see that we've got a more concrete plan for what the overall geography of the world will be. I see that the Skyloft/Sky Temple area is planned and all, as one of the more difficult area. That being said, I was curious if my Cloud temple level would be sufficiently difficult, or if I should change the enemies to suit the theme better?

Hey, so I submitted my latest level, Cloud temple. I`m in need of some critic as to what people think of it. I figure that I made the level a little on the short side, and the majority of the level is simple platforming. I`ve added something of a mini boss and at the end is a resprited star courtesy of Ratty.

Let me know if you guys like it, or what you`d like to see changed. Also, let me know about the pots I sprited. They`re a little big, but otherwise I`m worried if they don`t fit colour wise.

Magma Cavern.

This is easily the best level so far. Everyone should play this.

Well shucks, I'm glad you think so. I haven't gotten a chance to play any of the other submitted levels, but I was hoping that my level wouldn't be too easy or too short. I figure that there's enough of a challenge here without too much difficulty put into tight jumps like traditional mario games.

I'm hoping to try making a temple level soon, so hopefully that'll work out just as well if I'm lucky!

- Wanted to make it actually look convincing as a Pokemon (Lol), giving it more clarity in shape, and making Miceberg a bit more on the cute side. I'm not sure on the tuft of hair on Volice, though, since it kind of makes it look... Emo?


It's quite a bit of work when you're customizing pretty much every aspect of a game like this. I'm impressed with the you're ability for art by the way, and it only makes me more excited to see the final product. Congrats to everybody that put forth a pokemon, a big applause for Ratty, and hopefully We'll get a chance to play soon!

I know that you said something about animating attacks or something like that. If you'd link a tutorial, I wouldn't mind taking some time to do my part. Making pokemon was fun, but after the past couple weeks and all the controversy I'm happy to start paying more attention to this project.

That really sucks, I could have figured that the script would have been solid enough. Believe it or not, you were right at the end of the demo any ways, however I'm worried if this issue is due to the script, or just a one time thing. Either way I'll see what I can do.

Good points. After picking a class, until you progress by going to sleep, you should be able to re-choose your class as either a fighter or an archer. About the campfire thing, You're correct. I meant to make that a reoccurring event however I must have missed it.
