I like to smell people :).
I have an absurd fashion of littering my game creations with unnecessary light-maps and overlays.
I am fond of RPGs and first-person shooters, and have an astounding joy for horror games.

The tiles beneath the windows aren't in line with the tiles below :(. They're slightly offset. Perhaps you could adjust that a little?

I think the light-overlay that you had Tardis was fine :(. I know it'll look better in-game ;P.
Also, I should have mentioned this in the last page, buuuut... You're indoor maps for this underground town have white lights, whilst the exterior maps have yellow/orange lights :(. Though, I like the gloomy feel that the yellow/orange lights give off, so perhaps change the colour of the lighting in the indoor maps?

Well, I might as well post something...
Something a little more light-hearted than most of my darker maps :/.

this prolly looks really good but alas, it is too dark. I realize that this monitor im using currently is pretty dark but y'know... it's almost pitch black in some places.
It's because it contrasts with RMN's white site-skin. It will most likely look lighter and more visible in-game :).
Iris of Emillion Review
Wow, I come on and find this! Thank you for the review :)!
Yes, you couldn't be more right with the dialogue. I've come a long way since then! This was obviously released for the Release Something! VI event, in which I was a day late, so there are LOTS of bugs and errors.
Though, I do have one thing that bothers me in your review. You mention that the sprite of Chrono himself was present in the game. He wasn't :(. If you browse through the character-set folder, you'll notice that ;P. Perhaps you just got confused, as the heretic in the beginning uses the Proto Dome (I'm pretty sure it's Proto Dome? I haven't played much Chrono Trigger) male villager sprite.
I'm also glad that you liked the Watch-Guard and Iris. They were the only characters I really fleshed-out thoughtfully :(. In fact, the scene with the Watch-Guard was one of the first scenes and dialogue I constructed :P.
Yes, the fog overlay effect could have been a little more transparent, and it does tend to scroll off the screen (this happens during text. I'm not currently sure how to override or fix this).
Overall, I'm sorry you didn't quite reach the conclusion of the demo. Through, you didn't quite 'miss out' on much. Not many questions are answered, as I preferred to keep the past of the characters (and their motives) mysterious and quite vague.
Though, again, thank you for the review, and I hope that you do get to play some of the later parts. This release doesn't span that long, so you've covered essentially most of it :P.

post=89897You could download F.E.A.R.'s multiplayer component, F.E.A.R. Combat ( http://projectorigin.warnerbros.com/fearcombat/main ) :). It's free too.
Steam: neo_prime
If theres something else that's got at least somewhat easy to set up multiplayer, and doesnt cost much (but preferably free), and you just happen to need a player, drop me a line, and we'll go from there.
