NICKAD'S PROFILE

I like to smell people :).
I have an absurd fashion of littering my game creations with unnecessary light-maps and overlays.
I am fond of RPGs and first-person shooters, and have an astounding joy for horror games.

More unnecessary light overlays (yes, I know it is dark. It's not actually that dark in-game. Again, it's RMN's white site-skin that contrasts with it :( ).

@YDS -Perhaps you may like to place seats along and next to the walls? You could also do a few tile/floor colour variations, to make things a little more decorative?
Also, is that a little wall/elevation near the windows (the blue things with the lights on them? They're lights, right?)? If so, you could possibly put stairs there so that people may have a better view of what is outside?
Though, it looks nice already :).

The Importance of Planning

Planning is an essential part of game development, whether creating a project on your own, or in a team.
As for me personally, I plan the basic structure of the game. I plan the areas, what will occur in those areas (scenes, characters, etc), and the basic structure and architecture of those areas (for instance, if I am about to create a town or dwelling, I'll think about what architecture it will have. Heck, I even search online for images as inspiration). Creating as you go along is fine, but without at least a little bit of planning, your game might not end up as you would like :/.

This can also explain most of my feelings about this game.

7 (strange number) frames repeating for the most part, then a loooong fadeout. ripped and i'm just animating it

hey, how's this for service: http://rpgmaker.net/users/132/locker/leo_shock.rar

so repeat the first 7 frames as long as you want and then use the fadeout accordingly or do your own. remember, kids, positive blending is your friend.

I'll positive blend you. This should be great help to those who need it. Nicely done :).

I'm gonna take on FFX-2 again. I rebought it a while ago, and im gonna give it another go in the mindset of not really expecting much storyline wise.
I never liked FFX-2. I found it a little boring (I am lying about the little ). The game became way too repetitive, and the story didn't help either. I suppose taking your way of going about it, you might find it slightly more enjoyable.

i am playing FF6 AGAIN. rippin' shit along the way.
I just started doing this myself. If you happen to make it to this area of the game before me, would you be able to rip General Leo's "Shock" ability animation for me? (Not the sprite, mind you)

I attempted to rip Leo's 'Shock' ability, but it ended up being way to big and having WAY to many animations to fit into a standard large battle animation template, so I stopped :(.
That's strange, it always seemed like 5 repeating frames at the most.

It was a long time ago, so perhaps I was just naive in the art of ripping. You'd have better luck at telling than I would have :(.
