Infinit+Cave World=Trinit NEED A TEAM

author=Game
Infinit/Cave World

Name: Trinit
Ideas:
-Start in a adoption center.
-If going the Yume Nikki route:
--NPCs will exist on the outside of the dream world, as well as inside. In the

dream world NPCs won't talk, awake, they will.
--You will collect effects in the game.
--Symbolism is a must either way I go, but it is definetly needed here.
-If going the Ao Oni route:
--Like one of the versions of Ao Oni, therw will be certain monsters in certain

situations.
--In the adoption center, you will have your own room, and other rooms will be

locked.
--As you go on, you have to save friends or else they become monsters. One

friend will be unable to be saved, and will just end up being a scare to the

player. :3
--Puzzles are a must!
-If able to cross routes:
--Start in the cave, be able to go to the adoption center when you want, at all

times.
--Some effects will be needed to solve puzzles.
--You will be able to attack/kill the monster. No in-game battles, fights work

like Yume Nikki with Madotsuki's knife.
--One of the monsters will either be triggered by an effect, or will give you an

effect, and will be this game's Uboa if triggered by anything else other than an

effect.
-If going my own route:
--Be in the cave world at the start of the game, goal of the game will be to get

to the adoption center and leave.
--4 characters besides the player will need to be saved. 4 monsters resembling

the characters will be there gaurding these 4 characters, some of the monsters

will attack, or end the game entirely. (watch out)
--Each friend when saved will give you an item that will act as an effect.
--You will be able to change characters mid-game, since some effects only work

with a character that gives it to you...maybe.
--At the start of the game, you will have one 'effect' and a monster that looks

like you, will be there. He will chase you throughout the game.

Genre: Psycholigical horror
Maker: RPG maker 2K3 OR RPG maker VX

Will need:
If RPG Maker VX:
-A place to get scripts/someone who knows the scripting code of RPGMVX
-A graphic/music artist, as I would like the game to be fully custom
-Someone to edit my maps/make maps
-A friend on RPGmaker.net who is willing to help me with this project

If RPG Maker 2K3:
-A person who can code VERY well, as I suck at using this engine for some reason
-A graphic/music artist, as I would like the game to be fully custom
-Someone to edit my maps/make maps
-A friend that is on RPG maker.Net who is willing to help me with the project.

If you read that block of text above what is probably going to be another block of text, you should know some plans of the game so far. I'm wanting to make a psychological horror game, and it is merging two of my past ideas, a Sci-Fi game Infinit and an idea of a different psychological horror game idea I had, Cave World.
You see, I played a fan game of Yume Nikki, Ignite, and it seemed fun. Psychological horror games are fun games to make, but as you guys know...my last try at this SUCKED. And every try after that was never released. I was wandering...can someone help me with this? I think I need a team, because what seemed to be a lack of time to me, at the time, made me rush. If I have a team with me, I won't be rushed anymore because now everyone is pitching in.
I know there are issues with making games with a group of people online though, and I, especially, know about alot of these issues, and I believe Ignite, .flow, and Yume Nikki were made solo, no team involved. But let's think about this, this is ME asking. I'm the guy who made Fire Woman...yeah, so I definetly need help.

Who would like to help me? Super Mario Seasons seems to be on a slight delay, so I feel like doing this while me, Seiromem, and Blobofgoo get through with Super RMN World, and get back to Super Mario Seasons planning like the special world/final world.

Super RMN World

Good news: I am making a new castle! Yes, remember Desert Palace? Not that. Especially since, the one rules I really REALLY hate, about not being able to make a boss that is creative and interesting unless you are on of the level submitting judges pretty much, is actually a rule.
The idea so far is that, I just want to make a castle. I feel like doing so, I don't care anymore, I'M MAKING A GOD DAMN CASTLE.

Bad news: Withdrawing Cloudsdale Sanctuary because, I have no idea what to do. Without 1 update to it, I'm being forced to withdraw, because, my main idea, my ONLY IDEA for the whole god damn stage, was the center point of criticism from a judge. Plus alot of the fun ideas, or at least what I thought were fun ideas, were also issues, and finally...I have no idea what to do with it. I thought of adding a new section like the judge told me to do, but what would it be? I was thinking of making the Rainbow Factory, but how would it work? A cloud level goes directly to a factory level, NO WAY! Plus alot of the terminology the guy used about my level in a way to tell me to cut out the beginning part of my stage was just confusing and weird... :( Can't believe I withdrew a level this early.

Anyways, my castle level uses a tileset that says it's a Manilla Castle Ruin..thing...yeah.
Well, still...fun...yeah... :(

Super RMN World

I just finished Cloudsdale Sanctuary! BOO-FUCKING-YA!
Can't wait to see a review of it! :3

Super RMN World

Cloudsdale Sanctuary will actually be a scrolling stage, taking place in the sky, where apparently clouds are being held up by pillars. XD

Super RMN World

All I did this time is update the Yoshi Coins so Hali didn't have to. Made them fit my stage's theme of being black and white.

Super RMN World

I notice there is always a trend with my levels. Let's see if you notice. Yes, they are all wearing on the eyes, completely black sometimes, and just boring.
I have a theory:
author=Theory
You see, black, being a depressing color, can also be hard to work with. In SMBX, there are barely that many black things, but when you get GFX, you will see me, making a level, with dark colors. For example, my first level, Mystic Cave, while not having custom anything, had dark colors. Sometimes even the symbolism in the stage, such as my original game idea for Super Mario Seasons, which was suppose to be something about the seven deadly sins at first, and a stage in this game The Nightmare World, as I try to make it as creepy as I can. I had 3 stages, one in the works, and two I have folders for when I got to them: Conveyor Belt(not original name, I know), Cloudsdale Sanctuary, and Crisis City. What did they have in common? Crisis City, based off of an already dark colored and evil looking level, has a dark tileset, and red background. Cloudsdale Sanctuary was going to have the Rainbow Factory in it probably, plus the tileset, once again, was just grey. Then finally, the Conveyor Belt stage, it is an enclosed factory that I was making for a final world like level, dark snowing outside sections, red and grey inside section. Seriously, what's with all of these stages? Well it may deal with what someone likes, such as, I think in a Let's Play Desmo did for the Castle Masterpiece Set, in Davenport's levels, Desmo said he must of loved green, due to green being everywhere. Well, I love black, red, and gold, and while gold doesn't appear much in my levels, I have an idea. Scrap those shitty ideas, and finally make a world 1 level(as if there weren't too many already!), and in the style of NSMB2, where everything is pretty much made of gold! Like the idea? It probably won't happen, but oh well, it's just an idea.

How would you guys like a NSMB2 stage, even though I never played the game?

Super RMN World

I updated the graphics for The Nightmare World. That's pretty much it.

Super RMN World

Sadly, inverting the NPCs worked horribly! I was just feeling like raging, and telling Hali, "YOU FIX THEM!", but then I knew that would be extremely rude. I fixed them myself, but with NPCs of dead characters like these, it's difficult to do, plus...just look at them. They are white, with a black background so that the transparency works. Sorry Hali, I won't be able to darken them. :(
At least I fixed a few other problems, I even fixed the clouds in the background so that they're sad instead of happy, even going so far as to making the mouths that are behind other clouds do the same. Most lazy people would fix the easy to do mouths, and that's it, but no, I went all the way! :3
I can see that becoming a joke soon. XD

Super RMN World

I'm updating Oil Oasis, and a few minor changes again. I will be doing the same with The Nightmare World soon as well, but to note as Hali told me to make them have a darker profiling, and that it should be as easy as inverting the sprites. Now we do notice that these sprites are black and white, right? So, if we were to invert them, black would now be white, white being a normal-I just realized. I AM A FUCKING IDIOT! AH! I can just invert them! I was thinking it would screw up the transparency. But I am still noting that along with black and white, there will always be shades of grey, and since most of the sprites besides the pumpkin plant are lacking grey, it means we are changing sprites from black to white, and white to black, so in other words, we are changing the colors so that the things look like black globs of oil...ironically. XD

BTW, can we change character graphics for stages
I don't think there's anything in the rules that forbids it, but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. It's not a good idea! 1) It makes the level take forever to load, and 2) It would be very odd to be playing Mario the whole game and then suddenly have a level where you play Kirby. The characters we play as should be consistent throughout the whole game.

No, that's not what I meant! I was just wandering if I could do so! I was thinking of scrapping the level I'm making, and going for a cloud based level. I heard of a character called Thunder Mario, apparently multiple versions being made, and I wanted to add Thunder Mario to it. Plus, if I wanted to make a level like that Eclipse stage in the Mario vs. The Moon Base game. First problem I find with your example for this issue, is why would I of all people be such an idiot to make a level where Mario is now replaced by Kirby all of a sudden? You underestimate me Isrirei! Second, why Kirby in your example? How would that work! Finally, I was only changing the character graphic. It's just another graphic, plus how about changing only power-up character graphics? Such as Ice Mario with Thunder Mario? Strange I guess, would it lag? I don't think so! I made a level with this kind of thing happening, on my shitty computer, and it didn't lag.
The only thing you said that may of stopped me, is that it isn't consistent with the other levels, and the game itself. So look at this:

from pyrodoom
can we change character graphics for stages, or at least power-ups?
If you can make a good enough reason for it, you can do just about anything you want.

There, he just gave everyone permission. So what you have said doesn't really matter to me anymore.
Sorry if I was sounding rude by all this by the way, wasn't meaning to. :(
