Super RMN World

I've been lacking lately. Maybe I'm not up to making complex stages, or at least good ones. I'm bored of the stage I'm making as of now, and generally don't like it. The stage about conveyor belts isn't even finished.
BTW, can we change character graphics for stages, or at least power-ups?

... And now I've uploaded an update to Ghoulish Gastly Ghost. I took out one of the sections of the first door puzzle to make the level as a whole a bit shorter.

On a side note, can I make a level that has somewhat of a self-plugin? Here is what I have in mind:
There is a fortress containing 524 rodent-like creatures called Ratties. The Ratties all belong in one big family of crazed mechanics, and are lead by two individual Ratties: Ratty 524, the wisest, and Ratty 165, the warmongering nut-job. The Ratties spend their lives building machinery, and occasionally levels and traps for Mario and friends to navigate through. They have no personal gripes towards Mario and his gang, but they love to see anyone get tortured by their puzzles.

So there is the back story, now here is the level. The Mushroom Kingdom's detective agency suspects the 524 Ratties of building a secret weapon to be used by Eli for his purposes, thus Mario and co. (however they get there) decide to help out by storming the Ratty's stronghold and shutting down their weapon.

By that logic, I could make a level that's a self plug-in where it's about Evil Pyro Team working with Eli on a machine to destroy Mario and friends! The logic here, even if it's Mario, just doesn't add up. We're mixing fictions pretty much.

I keep forgetting that Peach sucks balls.

Also, we have 2 backwards levels? :<

Yeah, Opposite Day, and now Going Backwards.

What. The. Fu-HAHAHAHAHA! ROFL
That is hilarious. :3
I love this sprite, would you allow me to use it?

Edit: BTW, Hali, you may want to add conveyor switch blocks to your tutorial just in case. The conveyor switch block will be used in my new level. Pretty much, it does what it is called, it switches the direction of conveyor belts. Most people use it as what I would call an event box, or an anonymous box, but I found the real use of it when watching a video, and wondering what if the switch actually did this, or if it was layers and events.
It's a dark-blue question block in SMW special section of Blocks.

Davenport, I don't see your name up in the judges thing, and what I just fought definetly wasn't a mini-boss, so were you meaning to break the rules?
Skyview Temple was fun, but raise the roof. Literally, I may not be a judge, but that is something that is needed to be done, just raise the roof, so the player doesn't have to be worrying about dying by jumping. Out of all seriousness dude, stick with a style! It's called Skyview Temple, so you start in the sky, then you are in a castle, then what I'm guessing to be a Ghost House like area, because of the background, then finally fighting who I'm guessing is Morton.
Next...dude, dry bones, when they die, turn into SMW Dry Bones, and I died by JUMPING ON A DRYBONES MOUTH. I only used it because someone gave the suggestion of using it, and I didn't find any with fitting graphics, and I didn't know how to fix the hit box. I will have to find that out soon. You on the other hand don't know graphical consistency. You are the God of Clash. :(
I did like the room with the moving blocks, until I remembered Super Mario World's 2nd castle, where I felt like cursing at the memory as I remember the boss of that castle. I didn't like seeing a boss at the end by the time I finished, and noticeably, you added a hammer suit before the boss...for some reason. It's not that difficult, only reason I would use a hammer suit is if I couldn't jump on him, which I could. That boss must of bothered me that much, because I can't remember much of what I liked with the level. I guess I liked that the level was short. :/
Sorry dude.

Super RMN World

I just updated Oil Oasis, hope it's alot better! I added in the metal boxes, and I made them move! Maybe that was a little too much...I also changed a few minor things such as music for the bonus room, and power-up placements. Also, the Oil Podoboos are now a lighter color, kind of a light grey, with dark grey replacing what would of been white on the NPC sprite.

pyrodoom...there's something you need to understand about style. When you're making a SMW-style level, it doesn't mean 'use all SMW graphics'. It means 'use things that look okay with SMW graphics.' SMB3 metal crates are one such thing. They can fit in with most styles because they're very plain things.

Next, when I say 'use SMB3 metal crates', I don't mean 'YOU HAVE TO USE THEM'. It's just a suggestion. You can come up with your own ideas. As long as you get to the root of the problem, any solution should be fine.

And finally, if you don't want to write text walls, just hit enter twice every couple sentences. So calm down; try not to get so antsy.

Sorry about that. \:D

Super RMN World

I renamed Eli's Sketchbook to The Nightmare Universe. I also took out some water bits that made a no-win situation, and changed the graphics. I also placed the final Yoshi Coin somewhere different then where it was before.
Now, I bet you guys are wandering where the fuck Oil Oasis and Metal Harbor went? Well, I'll tell you. Metal Harbor will be worked on truly behind the scenes, meanwhile I have a theory to why section 2 sucked so bad, that blames myself for the problem. You see, after watching a video to get ideas, based off the original game, I wanted to make the rocket bit blast off into the sky, but I never got anything for it, such as invisible block graphics that tanooki suit can't make visible, and didn't think of the size of the level, or anything. When I realized I would have to leave the rocket out, I had to think of something, and decided to make the player have to jump, and there he goes falling. But I was still mad by that time, and thought the level was long enough, and in other words, tried to make the stage extremely short in order to not torture people who play the level, even though it wouldn't make it to the final product of the game. So, as I work on it due to the criticism I got, I will be making stages, while doing this one as well, when ever I get the chance. And if it doesn't make it to the final product, which it most likely won't, I'll either scrap it and move on, or post the product I do make on an SMBX forum.
About Oil Oasis, I don't like clash. I fucking hate it, and the fact that I was going for a SMW level kind of makes sense...except for some of the SMB3 things in the background, but still. Then I hear Hali tell me to use the SMB3 metal boxes...dude. I will do this, get me SMW metal boxes and I will do this.
I'm serious guys, I'm not quitting this. I'm not trying to sound whiny, or rude, but out of all seriousness, do you guys know how hard it is to get graphics? How about making graphics. I may be able to recolor, but I don't think I have the SMW palette to do so! I'm with Hali about the red girder thing, about it being a secret itself, compared to the actual secret, but the way I'm thinking of how people are reacting:
"OK, so they want me to change something...I planned this out as well as I could, thought of it as much as I could, tried everything. Plus by their logic, if it takes getting to a secret, to get to another secret, then keep them both and don't change the secrets!"
Plus, I might as well remove that secret, or take out what made me think it was so great, just to make it worth while, because let me tell you this. Look at what it use to do, now that I moved the checkpoint it doesn't do so anymore. Now look at what I have done, I must be really wanting to keep that room. Plus it would make it too easy to get the power-ups if I put the P-Switch in that room, which means that the switch would not matter. Even WORSE, the Yoshi, versus the Yoshis in the bonus room. Moving the Yoshi to that room would be pointless. I have an idea on how to fix it all, and keep you guys happy, and just thought of it. I'm tired right now, over here it's getting to be 10:00 PM, I'm sorry if I sound mad over here. I just need to take a chill pill I guess.

Sorry for the huge wall of text.

Dude. You can't be serious!
Believe it or not, it's also the only level I've approved so far. Bringin' down the HAMMER, bros!

I'm playing yours next, so you have something to look forward to.

Not what I meant, but still.
Also, cool, I do have something to look forward too! :3

But, I didn't like Mondrian Grid. I don't even know what a Mondrian Grid is, let alone did I like playing it!
I didn't have the best graphics sure, graphics don't matter all the time. The issue I have, is the fact that I was crushed constantly. That plus the music, it got on my nerves quickly.
