Luchi-chan's Lighting Tutorial.
If I use a lighting overlay, what should the normal opacity be so it doesn't look like the sun is literally on the planet? In other words, so that the light isn't too bright. I forgot who I got the overlay from, but I am using Mac tilesets, along with this overlay, if that helps. I don't have a picture of it. I also found that one of the settings should be "add" since sub turns the light black, and normal doesn't make it transparent at all. So yeah, if that helps you help me.

On my computer, it lags. When I was on the other computer, I used my Dad's account, and got stuck in a haunted house. Literally! In Runescape, I was locked inside...a fucking house with ghosts.
Roblox is on the same level as Runescape somewhat, but it's a lot more fun to me, maybe because it doesn't lag as much! The cards at Wal-Mart costed the same, around 10 dollars. My Mom wouldn't allow me to have Minecraft because it cost around 26 dollars. I was GOING to get Roblox...but then my Mom said Runescape is better than Roblox.
She better be joking.

The fact that he loves green, doesn't matter. If he's going to have a theme, not all his stages are going to have green. Remember Aquatic Project from me...maybe? That stage, BARELY had red or orange in it, if at all. The only reason Desert Palace was orange, is because it's a pyramid, OK? So yeah, the more you know.
But yeah, the glitch death should count. When you fell because of the doughnut blocks, you went backwards to parts that already fell, as more of these fell...it was going to be disaster anyway! The glitch is only it trying to save you...then you decide to use a power-up when you aren't even dead yet, and it killed you. In other words, you FAILED at getting a power-up. WOW.

An Average Idea!

roms are illegal. so is smbx.
Actually, because of what this guy said:
author=Travio
The BIOS is protected by copyright. The hardware really isn't, as it's available in practically any CD/DVD/BR (depending on the system) drive you want to look at - it's the settings and programming in the BIOS that actually tell the machine how to interpret what it's reading, and that's essentially software.
ROMs are still illegal - they're just dumps of the actual software, no different than a pirated copy of a PC game, which is really just a dump of what's on the disc. It doesn't matter how old the original game is, if the company hasn't legally given up their claim to the software, it's still copyrighted and protected under law, and thus illegal to copy - even games belonging to companies that went out of business are still protected, as someone, somewhere, owns the copyright to the game unless they've been legally given up.
The emulators aren't though - they aren't the original systems, or the original software, they're someone else writing software that emulates being the system (hence the name) to access the dumped information. A very similar situation to WinE - it emulates Windows, but it isn't actually Windows, so it's legal. Since the person who wrote the program has chosen to give it away, sharing it isn't illegal.
SMBX isn't illegal, because it didn't cost money to get it. So, Nintendo had no reason to get redigit to stop continuation of the project. It also means that this Castles - Masterpiece Set AND Super RMN Brothers is illegal, just because we used this program. Therefore, let's stop talking about illegal shit and Roms and just continue with our lives.

author=nin8halosauthor=BlobofgooBecause they're illegal.
Why are we not allowed to link to roms?
No they aren't! With every single thing I've done that's APPARENTLY illegal...like using keygens, downloading music, BLAH DE FUCKING BLAH! I will not accept that Roms are illegal. If so, arrest me and my father now, so help me God! Why do you think people make emulators? Emulators are useful to people who have a computer, either don't have the money or want to use their money for something else, and for those games that everyone loves. Plus people do say that as long as you have the game, roms are allowed. Well the main purpose of using roms, is if you don't have the game, doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose?
Finally, there aren't many emulators out there anyway! Most people go for those famous emulators, and a lot of them won't work as well. And since most working emulators have roms made by people as well, such as the game that at least I enjoyed, SoMario for the NES.
Seriously, getting stuff such as this, and saying it's illegal, should be the only real thing illegal anyway. And on the internet, you may be talking to someone else in the world, who knows their laws, and theirs may be different from ours. So come on, cut us some slack! If emulators are allowed to be linked to, why aren't Roms? Emulators are pretty much just as illegal anyway.

author=Ratty524author=pyrodoomI see you take responsibility for your own levels... This version of the boss was a little bit more forgiving then when I previously played it.
I started watching the video, and never noticed this. How come in the Mouser fight, there are wooden platforms? I know it's Mario, but makes some fucking sense! Pyramids were built around the time when phaorohs were around, ala Egypt. I don't remember people building pyramids out of wood! Plus, it's suppose to be a difficult fight, and I loved the anger from the people who tried to fight Mouser, because I'm an evil dick. Seriously, the name Pyrodoom is just another alias crossed off my list. pyrowood is my fan character with my last name, pyroboom is one of my character's attacks, pyroflame is one of his forms, pyroslasher is a demon form, and pyrodoom is just a cool evil sounding name. Seriously, why did Isreiri change that! It's doesn't even make it easier! You still have a high chance of falling, and dying. I though it was fun, though that's not saying much since I'm the creator. Seriously, that's dickish just changing my dick move! >:(
Edit:BTW, you're going to hate my spring forest level that has Mouser as a miniboss.
OK, hopefully this isn't sarcastic. :3

Game Profiles - Episodic?

A cliffhanger as in, the story isn't complete, I'm gonna halt it here for a moment and the next chapter will pick up from here.
Yes, I know that. :)
Game Profiles - Episodic?
author=Liberty
Say you have a game that is broken up into chapters - think Final Fantasy 4: The After years or The Walking Dead. Games that are only complete when all the parts are there. Not sequels.
If the game doesn't cliff-hang you at the end (and I'm not talking FF13-2 cliff-hang, either) then it doesn't count. Think of it like you'd see a trilogy of books. The first book isn't complete by itself. It needs the other two to make sense of the unresolved storyline. There's a small conflict passed, but it's not the major one and there are a lot of questions left unanswered, keeping you hanging until the next book comes out.
That is, in essence, what makes an Episodic game vs a Sequel.
In other words, episodic can be used in situations like if the game has a cliffhanger, or has chapters to be completed to finish the game.
