How to stream?
author=NightowlFinally, someone who gets me!
You could just, y'know, use google. If time is an issue then use your timefurfudgehog powers to stop the time.
I found VH Capture. Haven't tried it, though.
Anyways, I used google, and if I were to find something there, I wouldn't be here. I'm not helpless! I can do stuff myself, I only ask when I need it. :3
VH Capture almost works perfectly, I'm not sure if resolution will be an issue, but a great feature is that there is a multicam, so I can screencap and use Webcam AT THE SAME TIME! The fact that I don't know how to record the WHOLE screen, or just a section, is the problem though. I can't find out how to do fullscreen when I want to. So that means fullscreen games like Sonic Robo Blast 2 is out of the question.
Still, good programs, going to start streaming soon. :3
Edit:BTW, resolution isn't a problem, but upload time during a stream is. I think the thing lags so much, that it crashes itself. It's very random, pretty much.
How to stream?
Well, I got this streaming program, Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder, and I go to check it out. I realize I don't know how to stream yet, so i go searching for tutorials. Now I can't find a way to stream stuff on screen, as in screen recording stream. I don't use capture cards, I don't record from the TV, I want to stream live from my computer, a game like SMBX, or while playing an emulator. Seriously, this is fucking annoying. I need help. If this program needs another program to do said things, than please, give it to me. If Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder can't do it at all, then can you help me find a program that can, and I need it to be free. My rule is that anything online shouldn't need to be bought...so yeah. This means that I won't buy anything online, and so, need to get a free program.
Please, people, I need your help!

Double tap to dash
I wish I didn't start a new project on RPG maker 2K.
It's very limited, and I mean VERY limited. I can't find tutorials. I want to do my Shadow game, but what's the point if I have to keep restarting over and over! Plus I just got the midis for it, so having to start over would be a real pain! I want this system, but I don't know if it's working. It doesn't seem like Shadow goes faster when I double tap, or triple tap, but it feels like it's working, in fact, I think I thought Shadow looked like he was going SLOWER than he was supposed to for about a few milliseconds!
I guess 2K and 2K3 aren't as close as I thought, RPG maker 2K3 clearly made some fixes, and I screwed up with my choice, and unless I quit, there's no other way to get around it.

Tutorials, learning and hand-holding
author=LockeZ
Personally, I don't really consider a manual or readme a valid option for scenarios that involve, uh... video games. To me the question is tutorial vs. easy gameplay vs. player exploration.
Well, in my eyes, they're all the same thing. If you want to teach a player, majorly, don't shower these though. It's very obvious, and I don't know why I felt I had to mention that, but oh well.
Manual-
Good parts: It can be optional, and can help the player if they're stuck, without a text box going,"MEGAMAN MEGAMAN! KILL THAT THING!", or "MEGAMAN MEGAMAN! THAT PLATFORM WILL FALL!", because the manual is real life, and you don't get that kind of stuff.
Bad parts: Let's say you are far into a game, and you get confused of what to do. You look in the manual, and nowadays, as far as I know not many games come with manuals, but when they do...controls. You find the controls for the game, and that's it. It may give you a few tips, but other than that, it's either the internet, or you're screwed.
Easy gameplay-
Good parts:While manuals and tutorials are good, this is a nice idea because it allows the game to be for all gamers, sucky gamers and hardcore. No tutorials needed here.
Bad parts:But that's pretty much it, it doesn't give much challenge, sadly.
Tutorial 1: The loudmouth character-
Good parts:Well, let's say you're an idiot, and you don't know what to do. You walk up to something and something screams at you,"MEGAMAN MEGAMAN! THAT THING WILL...DO SOMETHING!", now you figured it out, and if you forget, because remember, you are an idiot, it will happen AGAIN, AND AGAIN...
Bad parts: ...AND AGAIN, AND AGAIN, AND AGAIN, AND AGAIN...
Until the hardcore players give up, not because the game is to hard, but because of that annoying girl, or annoying fairy that keeps on and on. Seriously, someone should make a challenge game where they have all annoying characters on one screen, and see how long you can last, before your brain explodes with information not needed.
Tutorial 2: STOP WITH YOUR QUEST AND FIGHT THESE GUYS WITH A WEAPON YOU JUST GOT THEN BLAHBLAHGBLAH... -
Good parts:Well, at least its better than the loudmouth character. It doesn't talk, and is more or less obvious what you have to do, without being told to do it. Pretty much, you get a super uber powerful sword, let's say, and you're an idiot again. You don't know how to attack, and an enemy pops up. So now, you find out you can equip stuff, and you learn how to attack, how? I don't know.
Bad things:If you play the game enough, this will stop the progress from what you really want to do if you're a hardcore gamer, but if not, and you're an idiot, these things won't happen enough because you keep forgetting that a monster just shoved your own sword up your ass. It's insanity, pretty much. But not many people agree with me with this, think of Goldensun. The very beginning of the game, you learn a few things, but to learn these things, you have to stop. So a friend of yours is about to die, and your family wants you to help, but no, you want to try out move, which doesn't work at this time. Yes, that doesn't make any sense, I don't care, because remember, in this situation you are an idiot. In real life, you aren't, but this is hypothetical, Mr. or Mrs. Reader.
Not going into depth about the kind of tutorial the guy in the video was showing, but in my eyes, that is the best, and also relates to player exploration, so OK, there it goes. All tutorials in my eyes, told from my perspective, the good and bad things about each that Lockez mentioned. And most of the games I've tried making use player exploration, and my Dad doesn't like that. Says something about him. :3

Castles- Masterpiece Set
@Isrieri
I'm starting to get confused. You told me that you could do the coin-arrow thing in collection of levels, you know, putting them in the game, and that my stage is ready. I agreed earlier, and started to wait, but I still see an orange dot. Sorry for being impatient, but I'm feeling more confused than anything, really.

Your level is pretty much READY though, so I can just do that during compilation if you'd like.
Yes, you can do that. :3
Castles- Masterpiece Set
Um...I don't know what you meant about that arrow of coins, since in the space I have, that would be quite difficult.
So Isreiri, am I just waiting for my level to be accepted?

Project Spooky: Recruiting Team for Horror Puzzle Action RPG based off of Creepy Pastas
author=AfternoonNappingGodauthor=pyrodoomHmmm, I am not sure, but I think we can decide when we cross that bridge. Until then lets focus on a good story and planning.author=AfternoonNappingGodSince I can't use RPG maker VX Ace, I think we should do this on RPG maker VX. While Ace is apparently better, you say you don't know it as well as VX, so it would make sense to do something in your comfort zone first if you are doing this kind of subject on a horror game.author=pyrodoom1) Welcome to the team. I declare thee officially number 2 of Project Spooky!
First off, I want in.
Second, if you want to research creepypastas, look up these 2 people on Youtube by the names of YurioofWind, and SomeOrdinaryGamers. If you go to SomeOrdinaryGamers you will find the person telling stories sent to him, then analyzing them. The creepypastas will also be in the description, and sometimes he plays games based off the creepypastas, or just a horror game. Yurioofwind on the other hand normally does unreleased games and such, but as of last year he started and ended his Creepypasta series in both Gaming Mysteries and Creepy Gaming Mysteries.
Third, is this going to be a project on RPG maker, and if so, which one?
2) I will look into those two.
3) I was thinking RPG Maker VX Ace, but I might use just VX unless somebody else would like to do the programming as well. I am used to VX, Ace is still kinda of new to me, but I can get used to it pretty quickly.
EDIT:
I made a forum that will used be later when our team has been gathered for discussion. It is still under construction.
