I've been an active member for quite a few years now. I started my RMN career by releasing the Eden Legacy Trilogy of games (each entry took 4 months of nonstop work) within one year, and I've gradually shifted to creating other games as well. I now have 3 flagship series: Eden Legacy, Fragile Hearts, and Mafiosi (being remade for commercial release as Crime Opera). I'm pretty much solely focused on the Crime Opera series of visual novels right now, as my band and job currently take up most of my free time.

That's a great suggestion! It wasn't one of the ones I was covering initially, but due to the low rate of responses I've been getting on a couple of them I'll probably be able to fit it in after all :)

Is it just me, or are all the other RM sites pretty much dead now?
Crashed as in kind of dead. I guess it doesn't matter, since RMN is kind of my internet home, it's just something I noticed when posting my latest game to other sites. The Ren'py community, on the other hand, seems to be branching out a little more lately to different sites.

Like which ones? I only really visit RMN. I pop into RMW on occasion, but not nearly enough to judge its activity level.
RRR has been dead a while, and the forums are starting to slow down a lot too. The only activity I've seen there lately has been from people I primarily know from this site. Other sites that have really crashed are RMRK, HBgames, and Saltworld (gamingw).
