Hello! I'm the 6th-8th grade math and science teacher at a small K-8 school in the Sierras. I recently moved to Oakhurst, California, about 30 minutes outside of Yosemite, with my wife and 16 month old son. Before that, I worked as a 5th grade teacher in San Jose. I love designing and playing video games and cooperative board games. My favorite parts of RPG making are writing and eventing. When I'm not doing that, I like to run, bike, and play volleyball. There is never enough volleyball.

@chuy9711 - I figured out what happened that allowed you to walk through the walls, and I think I've provided a fix that will keep it from happening again. The download has been updated. Thanks.

Thank you for letting me know. It is most likely that you entered a minigame where passability is set to "through" and the command that sets it back to normal wasn't processed. Unfortunately, every so often a command isn't processed correctly. If that's the case, there isn't anything I can do about that. Of course there's always a chance that it's a mistake on my part =). If someone is able to reproduce it, I can look into fixing it.

For now, if you'd like to keep playing the game as it was intended, there are a few options. You could send me your save file, and I can reset your passability. You can also try and enter into another minigame (other than lockpicking), and the passability should be fixed after exiting it or completing it. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help and thank you again for playing and letting me know about the bug.

That is unfortunate, but I don't think my game will affect their sales. Canvas hasn't gotten much traction...yet =).

Thank you for the kind words. Alundra, Phantasy Star IV, or both? =)

Manifest

Good question. It was never my intention, but there is always a chance that I overlooked a specific strategy that might make it possible to prolong it.

Thanks for playing, reggird! Hope to hear from you as you progress.

Congratulations! It's very exciting to know that at least one person is getting close to beating the game.

You never have to apologize and you'll never be a pest. You are taking the time to play my game.

Definitely one of the most complex puzzles in the game. It requires several abilities/gadgets to solve.
Some help below...it's going to be specific step by step instructions on the puzzle. If you want less explicit hints, don't read the spoiler below and let me know.

1.Shoot an arrow at one of the golems to anger him and let him run down to the bottom wall.
2.Freeze him away from the side walls as he paces back and forth.
3.Stand above the frozen golem when you shoot the 2nd golem. That way he will run into the ice block when you move out of the way, and he won't go all the way to the bottom.
4.Freeze him away from the side walls so you're able to move the resulting ice block side to side.
5.Move the 2nd, higher ice block until it is in line with the switch, just below the spikes.
6.This is the part that will require some timing. Use your wind flux to push the ice block into the dragon so it stops on the switch. It should be pretty forgiving on the time, but if you throw the block up too early or too late, you'll have to repeat steps 1-5.

Good luck!

Based on the screenshot, it seems as if you already did activate them. There was a gate on the upper left door, but it's gone in your screenshot. That only happens when you have both switches pressed at the same time.

Help below.

There are 4 puzzle rooms in Fort Thorn that require one of the schematics to complete. The one in the bottom left of the map is optional (the only schematic without yellow squares). The first of the mandatory puzzles requires a 5-digit passcode, and one of the schematics will highlight which 5 numbers to enter (read top to bottom and left to right). You will need to stand on a specific spot in the puzzle room for the schematic to line up.

If you need more explicit help with the first one, please don't hesitate to ask. I can help as needed with the others as you get to them, just let me know.
