RMVX Mountain Maps

I am trying my hand at making a mountain map for my game right now and it's not going so well. I realize that the RTP tiles aren't very good for making mountains, but I think the bigger problem is my lack of ability to design maps. Could someone suggest a VX game with a good mountain map I could check out or better yet, could someone make me a real simple map using the RTP? The one I need isn't very big maybe like 40 x 20 with one cave entrance at the top. I'm just terrible at this mapping stuff ha.

Suggest me board games

oh man, hero quest was awesome! I couldn't remember the name of that game for the life of me. we used to play that at my cousin's house all the time when we were younger. good times.

New RPGMaker Blog

The enterbrain blog occasionally posts new resources but its in Japanese. I figure since that site is the official enterbrain english site, maybe they'll post some resources in English, ha.

Suggest me board games

Axis and Allies is pretty much the greatest board game ever made.

Memoir 44 is pretty good too if you like war games.

Vehicle maps

Does this work with Mode7?

RMVX map editor question

Ahh, I figured, thank though. I'll just take a bunch of screenshots and put them together in photoshop or something.

RMVX map editor question

Is there a way to zoom out to more than 1/8? My overworld map is pretty huge and I just want to be able to see the whole thing at once (even if I can't edit it that way).

What are you jamming to?

Easily my favorite band of all time.

Hopefully this will be like the enterbrain blog but in english, ha.

Background Stories for NPCs

I can appreciate just wanting to get a game done, but my reason for getting into this, into making a game, is to bring to life the story that's in my head. So why would I want to rush through it? I want it to be believable, immersing. I want to be able to feel a part of the world I'm creating, and I want anyone who plays the game to feel the same way. I'm less interested in the game aspects of my game, and more interested in the working out of the story.
