You're having a problem with audio codecs. You can try downloading some, or you can replace the "Peach Get's a Map.mp3" with any midi by giving that midi the same name (but keeping the midi extension). There are other MP3's in the game, so if you don't find working audio codecs you're going to have to replace those too.

The save files are the only external files. So if you get those, you can put the game anywhere.
I'm not sure of the exact rules for RM2k3, but I've played games where the save file was just in the main game folder, so that's weird.
