Hey...this sounds like fun!
The dimensions aren’t quite right – but I don’t think it really matters:

Should I Finish This?
It seems like everyone has already talked you into finishing this - and I’m with them too; I wouldn’t mind seeing this get finished as well, not just because of the awesome sounding name, but because I’m getting a lot of Luxaren Allure vibes with this one - and I freakin' love that game.
I always believe that you should make what YOU wanna make, not necessarily what others want you to do or what’s currently trending in the gaming industry. If you personally believe that this project will be a success and that you'll enjoy working on it - then I'd say go for it! And since you have such a knack for making yuri-based games that someone as straight as me can also enjoy, I say continue working with the hot hand. So Date Knights is a solid “yes” for me.

Wait...you mean to tell me that this game didn’t get featured until just recently…!? Huh... I always thought that it did a long time ago…but I guess not.
Anyways, it was a nice surprise to see this game on the front page for this month’s featured spot. I remember playing this game a LONG TIME AGO…back during the Gamingw.net days, and I always preferred it more to its predecessor, considering that this one dropped the confusing - but very ambitious for its time - four directional encounter system to something a bit more straightforward. Heck, for its time period, I remember people being really impressed with the 2D exploration sections that Neok used the exact same method again in, arguably, his best work in Alter A.I.L.A. Genesis, so that's something.
Anyways...congrats on getting the featured spot, Neok (...wherever you are...)

Alright…! Just managed to submit the revision onto the main page before the extended deadline closed. I think everything’s now good and I can finally rest easy.
Now…it’s all up to Frogge. (God speed, little doodle...)
So I provided to you Frogge, in my submission, the sprites that you’ll need of myself, Reginald, and the Gingerbread House... There’s also a few music pieces to go along with it (including a nice bar theme if you decide to use it or not), two pictures of whether the Gingerbread House is successful or not, and some sound effects... There’s also a sample game to go along with it, with the dialogue intact, of how each scene is supposed to go in order to help you out.
Hopefully, I made it a lot more idiot-proof for you to be able to transfer everything much easier than before. I even added in comments for what character’s sprites need to be changed, along with everything else that's necessary. I even changed the five switches and four variables that I needed to numbers 201 - 220, imagining that you probably wouldn’t use those ones. Really, in reality, it shouldn’t be that hard.

Extended deadline by one day for anyone who didn't have time to get in their submissions :)
Wait a minute - there's now another day to get more shit done!?!?!?
~ Praise, be Aremen!

He did threaten to rape/slit the throat of an underaged site member. He spammed baby rape on the site. He constantly came back over and over. he's not someone who should be anything, tbh, but definitely not a hero or anything positive
- Okay...! I didn't realize that he did some of that shit! Good god...

Anyways, it was just an idea for funsies. You're probably right.

I'm planning to add player customization in a future update, preferably sometime early in 2021, but it's gonna be a post-game unlock and not included in the initial release so that I can actually get it done on time without needing to rush anything. Maybe provide some seperate dialogue if you could that doesn't address me directly just in case so I can use that for the post-game?
How about I just place in a \N{0} code for whenever I (or Reginald) is talking so that way it shouldn’t effect anything if you’re planning on adding in player customization in the future. Would that be okay?

I'm not really happy with how the 2017 game turned out since I really rushed most of it, so this game is technically meant to be a replacement so I can take down the original game page.
Hey - I thought the 2017 version turned out pretty good, all things withstanding, and could hang with both of YDS’ games. I dunno if I would necessarily take the gamepage down, though, as it seems like a bit of a waste to me… But it’s up to you.

Wow, I can’t believe that you decided to bring this back from the dead, once again, and make another one of these things. I never imagined that we would ever get another one, since the last one was released so long ago and the sequel was eventually abandoned. But I guess it’s kind of fitting, really, considering that YDS made two of these that you feel like you have some unfinished business left to do yourself and have to make two of them too, lol.
I knew that I had to participate once again the moment that I saw the event pop up on the front page, considering that I’ve made an appearance in every single entry thus far - so I can’t sit out now! I went from scrubbing the floors in Nightblade’s fabulous mansion in the first game to stealing Karsuman’s lesbian artwork in the second to living up high and mighty above the clouds in the land of Ara Fell, inside a cave, watching the Canucks blow a game to the Arizona Coyotes, out of all teams, while asking for some chips and some dip. I feel like that in every single instalment that I’m slowly moving up in life (…slowly). Heck, I was even involved in some of the fetch quests in two of the three games, so that’s pretty good.

I’ve just been working on the finishing touches for my submission which includes me (the guy with the black Santa hat), my personal bodyguard-for-hire - Mr. Reginald - and a Gingerbread House which has the potential to either crumble into tiny pieces or stay intact depending on random chance.
Heck, even my bodyguard-for-hire has his own theme music if you’re brave enough to talk to him. Bug him too many times and he’ll shove your ass across the hall.
I originally wanted to have the player character ask me how I’m holding up these days without any hockey on T.V. (because of Corona-Chan) and then flipping out on the player with my eyes glowing all red and then grabbing the player with both hands before getting all worked up before eventually calming down and apologizing for my sudden pent up rage. But then I thought that since my last appearance was hockey related that I try and do something different for a change. And then the Gingerbread House with Reginald idea popped up in my head, suddenly, and I was far more interested in doing that.
Oh. And speaking of player character and such – I just have a question or two for you, Frogge, before I hand in everything as soon as I can:
Are You The Main Character Again Or Is It Someone Else?
And, Is Helaz The Villain Once Again - Or Is He Getting Some Much Needed Help This Time Around?
Anyways, I'll try to get my submission in as soon as possible before the deadline closes.

Are You The Main Character Again Or Is It Someone Else?
- I’m assuming it’s you again. But then I remember that YDS, in the first Christmas Card game, was the main character in that before eventually switching over to a player-based one in the sequel and I’m wondering if you’re going to go down that route too. The dialogue that I have written here is directed at you, so if you’re not the main character this time around and it’s a player-based one - it would be good to know.
And, Is Helaz The Villain Once Again - Or Is He Getting Some Much Needed Help This Time Around?
(Lol, poor Helaz...everyone's favourite punching bag...)
I don’t mind if Helaz is the main antagonist causing trouble again. But, surely, he can’t do it all on his own, especially after his last defeat?
Actually, it would be funny if Helaz just lives in a little tent way outside the city, in the frozen tundra, trying to keep himself all warm and all, but he is then approached by a shadowy figure who needs his assistance to bring RMN finally down to its knees… Maybe it could be WIP, AFrenchDreamer (AFD), Max McGee, Yuno and / or Xand, or maybe an endless supply of spambots summoned by Corona-Chan to help him in his quest for vengeance. Maybe at first he refuses and simply wants nothing to do with RMN anymore, but is then persuaded, eventually, to help the shadowy figure out.
Heck, maybe even in the final battle against the shadowy figure, Helaz actually teams up with you (but he totally sucks in combat and can get one-shotted easily, lol) to make amends for all the things that he’s done. And even with the sudden change of heart and the player mentioning to Liberty that maybe we should let him back in, even just for a day, because it’s Christmas, Liberty thinks about for just a couple of seconds and then basically says, “nope,” and then sends him straight back into exile, where he begins cursing all the way that he shall someday get his vengeance. Heck, maybe even Reginald, my bodyguard-for-hire, can haul his ass outta town.

I mean, if you’re going to rip off from the rest - why not from the best?
Besides, if somebody brings up the dreaded "you stole this from Chrono Trigger" question, just respond with "Chrono Trigger??? What...what even is that - what is that!? *turns over to Arc* Hey Arc!? You ever heard of this Chrono Trigger thing that this guy's talking about!? ...No? Well, okay then, I guess since this is the first time that we've ever heard about it, I guess we're going to have to go with claiming ignorance on this one. And if you don't believe that, then they probably stole it from us. I mean, it is a game where you can time travel; maybe those ba*tards went forward in time, took a look of how amazing Legion Saga DX ended up doing, and decided to copy all of that when they got home and put it in their own crappy game that nobody gave a shit about."
"You still stole it from Chrono Trigger!!!"
Deckiller: "Hey...f*** you! Next question!!!"
