Nearing The End
Holy shit - have you been really working on this for fourteen years!? Damn, son... And here I thought Xenomic with his Touhou Fantasy game was the longest worked on 2k3 project around here - but I guess not!
I must give you tremendous credit for managing to stick with this project all the way throughout the years, as it takes a special type of patience to see something like this completely through. I’m sure there were a lot of moments that you doubted not just if this game was ever going to see the light of day, but also the game itself, as judging by the lack of comments on its game page and general interest in it. Here’s hoping that with its release that it does find some success and manages to find a name for itself in the RPG Making community. Because I’ve seen some your RTP maps before in the screenshot topic and on Discord, and, I must say, I like what I see! If the rest of the game can hold up, this might be potentially a hidden gem...
Either way, congrats on almost reaching the finish line! Hopefully all that hard work will pay off in the end and you'll be showered with Misaos...(or, in this case, lots of money, heh, heh).

NHL 2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs / Pool Prediction Thread
...God damn it, Dallas! This is why I can’t have nice things.
And, hey, I picked up another pity point, my sixth one of the entire playoffs! (J-Jesus…) If these trends continue, I might just challenge for 6th place by the end of this! Woooo - 6th place!
And Kory really, really needed that St. Louis victory. He was beginning to start slippin’ a little bit there and that giant lead of his was slowly evaporating. But with that win now he now has a 5 point lead on Narcodis for second and a 7 point lead over Shinan for third, so he’s sitting pretty again.
Tomorrow’s another big day! If the Sharks manage to win, GreatRedSpirit will be officially eliminated and tied with me for last place with a whopping 12 whole points! But if the Avalanche wins, GreatRedSpirit stays alive…for now (although Kentona will drop hard and Cap_H will go from 4th place to being tied for 2nd with Narcodis, so that's something.)

As much as I absolutely DESPISE the Bruins and that god damn rat of theirs, them beating the Blue Jackets last night actually did all of us (except Kory) a HUGE favor, because if the Blue Jackets managed to hold on to force a Game 7 and then win the series almost half of us would have been eliminated on the spot. Sooo…thanks, Boston…I guess??? *shutter*
And, also, apparently, if the Sharks managed to win the other night in overtime against the Avalanche, GreatRedSpirit would have been officially eliminated, so he manages to cheat death for another day!
I could be officially eliminated tonight if St. Louis manages to win, so I’m praying to the hockey gods that Dallas can do it and give me some sweet salvation for now, because how absolutely pathetic would it be that the guy who watches hockey the most is the one who gets eliminated first, lol. I can’t have that happen!
So go Stars go! Don't be like Tampa Bay and have all my dreams crushed in one night.
I would vote for the jerks in the next round as well but I may end up having to vote for the Bruins (ugh…) in order to save my ass in the next round and keep my playoff pool dreams alive… Of course, if the Blues end up spoiling the party tonight, then I’ll vote for the jerks.

I just can't side with Boston, so for sure going for the Canes in round 3.

NHL 2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs / Pool Prediction Thread
So the jerks managed to sweep the f**king Islanders last night because OF COURSE THEY DID! With the way things have been going throughout the entire playoffs thus far - does this REALLY surprise anybody???
The only ones who manage to see through the eye of the storm were Narcodis and Kentona, who both picked up 2 points to keep their pool dreams alive for at least a couple more days…potentially...
And with the Hurricanes making short work of the “supposedly” well-rested Islanders - I’m now 1 for 9 in this pool thus far! Proving to everyone that just because you watch hockey all the time doesn’t mean diddly-squat in the grand scheme of things.

EDIT: Also, I just did a quick number’s crunch to check on something, but with the Hurricanes winning their series now, Kory will virtually finish in 1st place REGARDLESS of what happens in either of the three remaining series’ that are left in the second round. He hasn’t “officially” clinched 1st place, like, for the whole pool, but he can’t fall out of top spot going into the final two rounds. As for who's finishing in the last place? Well...that can still change among several people going down the stretch, so that one's still up in the air for now (although I'm probably the front-runner for that one right now, lol.)

Man, that must suck if you worked on a game and it got really popular here and it was almost days away from potentially being featured only for another game to come out of nowhere and steal your thunder and then you think, “…Oh, well…maybe I’ll get featured for next month…” and then it never happens and that one chance you had just turned into bitter dust.
...Oh, and...I'm also for Theia as well too... Sorry about the ramble.

I have to admit that I haven't heard that much Godzilla buzz, but there was a new trailer a couple of days ago and it does look crazy.
Yeah, I actually recently check out the trailer as well for curiosity sake, and, I must say - it looks pretty good! You guys that put it on your lists actually might be on to something here.
Also...speaking of Pokemon, those CGI Pokemon models that they have in Detective Pikachu look so...freaky to me… If I were ten years old again, and I saw something like that on the big screen, I would probably have nightmares for days, Jesus.

Imagine you write a review and others can rate it based on how helpful or well-written they find it (or based on whether they think your review sums up the game's content in a proper way). Whenever your review is rated by others, you get gamerscore for it, which is a separate value displayed next to the makerscore on your profile.
Yeah, but don’t we have comments for that if someone found your review helpful and they can let you know that way? I mean, I kinda like the idea of being rewarded a bit extra for writing a polished, helpful review, but getting additional makerscore out of that would probably favor some of the more lucrative reviewers around here and can be easily exploited by some. The system is fine the way it is.

I hate saying this, cause I don't want people to think differently about the hard work I put into this, But compared to other, Steamed Hams, this one was always kind of plain, straight forward and a bit stiff.
Yeah, but don’t beat yourself up too much about that. I would imagine that the general objective of making this was to see if something like this could be done and also use it as another teaching tool of what you can do with the listed techniques above and inspire other developers to make a short game like this. Sure, I would have loved an additional boss battle against the true form of Aurora Borealis – but it’s fine the way it is. :)

I was gonna make a joke about this to Darken - I'm fresh out of ideas! No um, I do have some ideas, but they'll be short, but they probably won't be as funny or as head turning as this one was. After a 3rd of 4th attempt at this, I'll probably go back to making more traditional rpgmaker games. In fact I'm kind of worried of getting DMCA'd. Steamed Hams on youtube was safe, but other stuff like fresh prince of bel-air or fraiser might be a problem.
I’m sure when that time comes you’ll have your next project ready, I’m sure of it! (Although, A Fresh Prince one would be pretty sweet...)
And, yeah, it looks like from the sounds of it that you’ll probably do maybe one more of these and then head back into actual gamemaking again. And as for Youtube and getting DMCA’d? Well, at least you don’t have to worry about that if you post the game up on RMN, or something. (Seriously, Youtube – what the hell?)
