Sorry, I’m just not as good with using a keyboard compared to using a more traditional controller. Call me old fashion, but that’s just how I role.
And now I know what it’s like to be Deckiller for a while annnd…it sucks! Yeah.
But, hey, somebody has to keep the coffin and all nice and warm until the next person has to go in there for a little while. Might as well be me! At least it beats hanging out in the banne dungeon again; that place smells like shrimp (...and not the good kind).

Review Pirates
Hey...! I did NOT die! I was just sleepin’, honest!
Don’t worry, I still plan on reviewing Yoshi’s Archipelago whenever I happen to come back to the site full time after completing this little side project of mine and whenever the hell I get the chance to buy myself a new USB Controller again. Because there is no way in hell that I’m playing and reviewing a platforming game without a proper controller, damn it! I still remember that Castles Masterpiece Set from years ago and trying to play it with a keyboard briefly and it was the stuff of nightmares! God knows I don't want to go through that same type of experience again with another SMBX game, even just for a bit.
But, either way, even if I’m not the first one to review it, I’m sure somebody will eventually get off their keister and review it sometime down the road for you guys. There could always be another review event in the future (like this one) and you’ll eventually get yourselfa complete sucker a taker or two, so you just have to be patient in the meantime.
Or...if patience doesn’t work for you – you could always try bribery! Maybe you can do the same thing like Liberty did and offer up some sweet, sweet chocolate in exchange for a review! (And then just watch them review the chocolate that you gave 'em instead of the game, lol.)

Sooz got me some TimTams and yeah they're pretty darn good!
Yeah, they are actually pretty tasty! My grocery store that I go to have them in the cookie and biscuit isle, and, although they're only two flavors available, I really like these little things! Especially when you put them in the fridge so they can get all extra cold and they taste even better for some reason. And they’re pretty affordable, too!

MONOPOLO:
a strange collision between the screenshot-hype-train and bizarre-technical-follies elements of rpg maker 2003. monopolo was a functioning clone of monopoly, mysteriously made in rpg maker by forum member silver4donuts, which is usually the sort of thing which just gathers mild praise and then gets stashed away in a custom-menu-showcase section of queenscourt.org or something. except in this case it was promoted as though it was a hyperanticipated blockbuster - regular screenshot drops, announcement pages, teaser links, all written up in a series of strangely formatted longform text posts written in a sort of giddy reggie-fils-aime-speak filled with weird winking insinuations, callbacks to previous posts, claims and grand rhetorical asides... and would never stop, bouncing back a week or two after every new round of increasingly aggressive insults and threatened disciplinary action. i remember being sad when the pushback eventually got to a point where it was dumber and more obnoxious than any of the original posts, one of those moments where "fair game" is declared and everyone can giddily go after an approved target. the last i heard a completed monopolo was still sitting on his hard drive somewhere - waiting until the time was right.
Holy shit... I just glossed over all of that and was surprised to find something about Monopolo written on there. I mean, like…holy shit, I never expected to see that! I don’t know whether to take that as faint praise or just utter embarrassment (...maybe it’s a bit of both?)
Either way, still pretty cool. I’m going to enshrine those words and put them right up on my mantle right next my Wisao.

You know, you really should get something for voting; a digital pin, along with a free cookie, doesn’t sound so bad, actually!
I only dabbled in a few games this year when I was taking a break from the site, like Final Fantasy V.S. Dog, Fire RMNblem, and Grimps to a name a few, but a lot of these other games I really don’t know that much about them…well, except for maybe Aria’s Story because of how many times it popped up on the front page during most of the year, so it’s kinda like you had to know a little about it because of how many times it popped up.
But – whatever - I ended voting anyway. And, like a blind fool that knows almost NOTHING about the candidates he’s voting for, I just ended up voting for what I thought looked cool and fit the bill.

And, hey, sorry about hearing about all of that about you and your predicament over at home; that’s really sad to hear about all of that happening to you and your family, and I can totally understand why you needed to disappear for a little while there - so it’s all good in the hood. It’s also good to hear, on a positive note, that so many wonderful people decided to donate some extra coinage to help you and your family out in a desperate time like that. Those are some wonderful people there with some great hearts.
