I never like putting anything on hiatus, and its not ideal, but its probably for the best.

Hey, better than it being cancelled, right? At least this way it gives us all a slight glimmer of hope that someday…someday this shall be completed... Besides, you have a much better track record when it comes to completing things around here compared to the rest of us - so I’m not too worried. You just go find yourself a good job!

(PS: I heard kentona's looking for someone to do some lawn work for him over the summer. I heard he likes to pay people in Pokémon Cards, if your interested, lol.)

Yeah, I kind of miss them a little if only for the nostalgia of hearing that winding-like sound when you go to rewind the tape back to the beginning again. Besides, we used to have a VHS machine a long time ago but my mom got rid of it a few years back along with all of our old VHS tapes with it, so we no longer have it anymore, I’m afraid. *sigh* Oh well.

You know, you should actually considering just leaving this in the game, actually. I mean, yeah, still put some undies on them just so, you know, for subtlety reasons and all…but you really should consider leaving it in! Maybe having no clothes on can drop the character’s defensive levels so down that it makes the game a challenge for a second possible playthrough or something. And if the character’s dress like they appear so on the field, then maybe you could have something like certain NPC’s question why you would be roaming the entire countryside with nothing but your undies on? Either way, something to think about.

Yeah, let’s hope so. I mean, I’m still in the process of retooling mine up (is that even the right word for it, "retooling???"), but other than that I haven’t seen anything or heard of anybody else around here working on a boardgame unless they happen to be hiding it behind closed doors or something. But hopefully, someday, the boardgame genre will happen to get the spark that it really needs and we’ll at least get 4 more board games around here in the future.

The Lowdown:
After a grueling stretch of an 82 game regular season has finally come to a dramatic close, 16 of the 30 remaining teams left will now do battle for hockey’s ultimate holy grail: The Stanley Cup.

Will the mighty Pittsburgh Penguins, champions of last year, manage to repeat themselves as champions once again? Can the Chicago Blackhawks manage to win their 4th Stanley Cup in seven years with Jonathon Toews, Patrick Kane and company? Can the Washington Capitals, after having a President’s Trophy season, manage to break through the entire Eastern Conference this time around and finally win it all? Or maybe it will be one of the many Canadian teams this year, such as the Edmonton Oilers, Ottawa Senators or Montreal Canadians that will finally bring the cup back to Canada after more than two decades?

Just like with the previous years, not only are we going to be discussing and reacting to everything that is the Stanley Cup Playoffs here, but we’re also holding a playoff prediction pool where the winner (or winners) will receive an achievement badge for their ultimate mastery (or complete dumb luck) that is the game of hockey.

The Bracket:

The Rules:
From all the playoff matches that are listed above, you must pick the winner of each playoff series from the 1st round all the way to the Stanley Cup Finals and how many games that each particular series will go to.

For each team that you manage to guess correctly that advances you will receive 2 points. If you manage to successfully predict how many games a particular series will happen to go to you will earn yourself a bonus point, even if that particular team that you happen to pick in that series ends ultimately losing in the end. And if you happen to guess both the team that wins and the correct number of games as well you’ll earn up to 4 points in total, so it’s crucial that you happen to get both of them right (if you can).

Also, the team that you pick to ultimately win the Stanley Cup plays a big factor in your pool too, as any matchup that team is involved in will net you double the amount of points, so it’s possible to get up to a maximum of 8 points each if that team not only wins the round but also if you correctly predict the right amount of games for it too!

The Prize:

For this year, the participant(s) that earn the most points at the end of this year’s playoffs will be given the Brent Burns Beard Award that’s worth 5 whole makerscore points with a face that only a shark could love.
