You only really learn how to backup all of your stuff on a more consistent basis when you eventually DO happen to lose all of your stuff one day out of the blue and you know that it could have been avoided in the first place. I was??? When the hell did that happen!? That’s like giving a loaded gun to someone who’s currently serving life on deathrow and telling them not to pull the trigger.
Maybe they made me a mod for a day or a week as some sort of a joke? I think I kind of vaguely remember something like that happening back then, but it’s been so long since I was a member there that I don’t really remember.

Whoa, this certainly was a bit of a surprise to see on the front page today. I thought we weren't going to feature this until Lucy_Fox finished doing the enhanced version for it - but I guess not - and that's just fine with me, as the original base game here is still just fine the way it is.
Congratulations on the featured spot though, Lucy_Fox. Erayu ended up being a pretty good game for a point-and-click adventure title, and I’m glad it’s getting a bit more love and recognition now. You deserve all the praise that you can get for this, and I hope you enjoy it.

And if Nashville happens to win tonight you'll then tie (for the moment) with Shinan for 5th place. And if Nashville happens to win Game 6 instead you'll then leapfrog right over Ankylo and I (again, for the moment) for 3rd place overall. Now THAT would be something incredible to see.
Personally, though, I kinda hope that the Blues at least extend the series to 6. Otherwise all GreatRedSpirit needs to have happen is hope for a Washington loss on Saturday and he basically either wins the pool or at least shares the lead with Cap_H (depending on certain results). With a Predators Game 6 win instead - it then keeps things quite interesting - as Cap_H would then only be one point back with at least the Oilers left to give him a chance to either tie or maybe even come out with the win.
But, I don't really want that to happen... So come on Washington - get your shit together!
Am I bad person for thinking that the hit wasn’t all that bad and purely was just an accident? I mean, Pittsburgh did get a 5 minute powerplay out of it with Niskanen getting a game misconduct as well, so I agree with the non-suspension call for Niskanen afterwards. You don’t wanna see somebody like Crosby get hurt like that, especially with his history of concussions and all, but I don’t think there was really any malicious attend to injure between Ovechkin and Niskanen there. It's still a shame to see that happen to him, though.

Yeah, it was a pretty bad year all around for the Canucks. Too many injuries and too many young players thrusted into roles that they weren’t ready for yet, plus some questionable decisions by both the coaching staff and upper management, were our ultimate downfall this year. I mean, instead of playing some of the kids that we have in the farm system for future development, we decided to waste even more development time by putting in plug players that won’t be there in the starting lineup for next season. Why??? And to add even more injury to insult, one of our best defensive prospects just bolted back to the KHL for next season, so we’re down a D-man with the expansion draft coming up soon where we’ll probably lose, yet, ANOTHER D-man because of it. (Jesus.)
I mean, there were a couple of bright spots this year, such as Bo Horvat’s continued growth, Troy Stecher’s emergence, and even Brock Boeser coming in and putting up some good numbers towards the last couple of games, but the Canucks are still a few years and a few pieces away from being a playoff team again. Getting one of the Top 5, or even Top 2 picks in the draft lottery this year would definitely help us a lot. So I’m hoping this Saturday good fortune smiles on the city of Vancouver and certain ping pong balls go our way, 'cause it would be really nice to get a really good player at this year's draft. I mean, Henrik and Daniel aren't going to be here forever, you know.

For me to pull ahead I need Washington to crash to deny those piles of points to everybody else while scoring on Nashville again.

I must have made a mistake somewhere the other night when I wasn’t paying attention when tallying up all these scores and all, so sorry ‘bout that. I did go back and double check everyone else to see if I also made any other mistakes, but everyone is where they should be right now. And speaking of that:

So it looks like now it’s just a four man race to see who wins the coveted Brent Burns Beard Award. There are a ton of different factors still left to determine who wins and all, but all four of us still have a chance to hoist the ultimate prize. It’s gonna be interesting.

Earlier today, the Ottawa Senators have defeated the Boston Bruins in overtime in 6 Games to finally take the series and move on to the next round.
Addit, Cap_H, GreatRedSpirit and Shinan all receive 2 Points each for successfully predicting that the Senators would win that series. Addit, Cap_H and GreatRedSpirit also pick up 2 Additional Points for 4 Points Total for correctly predicting that not only would the Senators win that series in 6 but that they would also defeat the Bruins in 6 as well.
And finally, the Washington Capitals avoid the potential scare by defeating the Toronto Maple Leafs in 6 Games and are now moving on to face the Penguins again for the second year in a row.
Addit, Ankylo, Cap_H, GreatRedSpirit, Hexatona and Kentona all receive 2 Points each for successfully predicting that the Capitals would win that series. Ankylo also picks up 2 Additional Points for 4 Points Total for correctly predicting that not only would the Capitals win that series in 6 but that they would also defeat the Leafs in 6 as well. In addition, since the Capitals are both Addit and Ankylo's Stanley Cup Picks, The Points Here Are Doubled.
Also, with today’s current standings and future probabilities, Kentona, Hexatona and Shinan are all eliminated from contention and cannot possibly reach or tie for 1st place during the rest of the playoffs. Sorry guys, you did your best. But here’s hoping you guys can still finish strong and try again for next year.

Tales of a Queue Keeper
Well, I don’t think that there’s really all that much that Liberty can go on without a working download other than the description, various videos and screenshots to determine what qualifies as promising and what should make it on the front page or not. I mean, it would be nice for a new game to have a gamepage and a working download uploaded first, so she could check it out a little bit and see if it might be good enough to make it on the list, but, sadly, you need to upload a gamepage first here before you can upload a working download first, and not too many people around here like to do that for at least a little while.
And I guess I can understand the biasness a bit when it comes to certain, high profile members on here that uploads a new game that gets the noticeable treatment because most of them here have released games in the past and some of them have had amazing track records with them, so of course they’re going to gain an additional step on other games around here, and that’s fine.
Either way, I think I’d probably do the exact same job if I was in charge of the queue… Okay, maybe less games might make it in on the new and promising list, but I’d still host a ton of them similar to what Liberty's provided.
