I see that Lita’s gotten a lot better at drawing maps than she used to be, hot damn. This definitely looks much better than the original hand-drawn map that was found in the original game – but is this really the whole entire world map in its full entirety? It seems like there are a couple of missing areas on here that are cut off a bit from the edges and the sides, so is this perhaps much more expansive than what we’re originally seeing here? Either way, it looks really, really nice.

Oh, are you also planning on adding in location headers to this when you manage to bring it up in the menu? And are you also adding in like a little mini-indicator to tell the player where they’re currently located on the map as well? It definitely would help a little to include both of these things, seeing how big the overworld was to get around.

You know, I never use the Cover ability in any type of RPG unless it’s completely automatic when someone else’s HP’s are low. Is it like that in this game or is just another manual type of ability that you have to select on your own? Either way, maybe you should just consider ditching the original idea and just have Tristian cover (only?) Ianna automatically in battle whenever her health manages to get low or she manages to get attacked by a random enemy with maybe a 30% chance overall that Tristian will manage to cover her in time. Maybe that type of percentage increases or decreases the more attached that they get throughout the game or the more that Ianna becomes more confident in her own fighting capabilities over time.

Either way, just throwing it out there.

Hmmm…"New Intro Dungeon," you say?

Is this a brand new dungeon that you go to before leaving the village or this sort of a retooling of the first dungeon where Lita finds her cat? Either way, cool, yay, new content, me likey! :D

I’ve learned throughout the years that you can never “actually” announce a proper release date until you’re pretty much 100% finished with the whole bloody game. (‘Cause…you know, bugs and stuff.)

In the meantime and betweentime, you stall ass like you’ve never stalled ass before.
