Music is not there for the character to hear, but for the player to know the character's mental and emotional state. But unlike with the pain and the physical effort of game characters, experiencing their internal thoughts and feelings by the player is often the intended result. That's the immersion.

If I may...is it okay if I give some criticism with the custom portrait?
I think his ear is too close.
The eyes don't feel like they are aligned properly to the 3/4 view and I feel that the cheek/jaw (which one is it? <_<;) is too high

I preferred the bottle without the light reflection, it was more readable imho. Nice to see you back to working on custom made stuff anyway.
I am always working on custom stuff. I just don't show them off nor are they really in a situation to be used in a game.
...nor allowed to be shown publicly, orz.
And so are the majority of the assets in this game are heavily customized (as in drawn from scratch, yada yada). So I'm not sure what that means!
I need to drag Vacant Sky through the mud one more time.

I had the impression that claim was made not because of the game's mechanics but because of its story. Remember, you play as the bad guys or something. That's new, right? I bet no one has ever done it...

Please do not pretend that games like Balmung Cycle and Rose Chronicles and Naufigaar or whatever it's called were the baseline of RM development in 2005 instead of rare exceptions in a sea of RTP games. You know, exactly the same way it is now.
This site features cool games on the front page every day, please do not pretend we are hiding them from you.
This is what I felt too actually. The only difference is that instead of Rips people are using legal stuff and stick with the RTP which isn't that badly made at all. I thought the fact that people are making games based on limited resources is a challenge itself. The same way Rm2k/3 was instead of technical stuff.
