I'm Ben_Random. I've been around since 2008 but I didn't really get active here since Super RMN Bros. 2. That, an unfinished game, and a couple of contests sums up what I've done with game making on this site. I find that my main purpose here is writing. I have a few tutorials out there, as well as some reviews on Mario fan games such as RMN Bros. or Mario V.S. the Moon Base.

I'll do my best to make the characters entertaining. I'll try to have more screenshots, including dialogue, soon!
Make sure the dialogue doesn't suck. I have seen many games with a great gameplay, but then have the dialogue ruin it all. On the other hand, I have seen games with amazing monologues, but horrible gameplay.
A well balanced game is best. :)

My VX game is a pacman style game, with event's on almost every tile of the map. Is there a way I can reduce the lag?

I know in RPGmaker 2003 there is a "Show Video" event command. Is there a script or something that will let me do that in VX? I know of the "Show Animation" event command, but that's not exactly what I'm looking for.
